Use reusable bags, collapsible crates! If America has this why do we send plastic bags to Malaysia? 😤🌎

It's totally fake 0:35 No plastic could be separated into balls like this. Think about it if you heat them they melt, if you boil it doesn't have any effect. How can we even believe that because of floating tank and with the help of magnet plastic bags could be converted into tiny balls .

Be careful using baking soda in homemade shaving cream! Some people may be sensitive to it. I recently tried a similar concoction to this and while it made a fine, stiff lather, it actually made my face burn worse than aftershave when I put it on. YEOWCH!!! I had to wash it off and throw it out before I could even shave with it. Try using cornstarch instead.

We really don't need all those plastic bags. It's not rocket science, buy reusable! NJ BANNED most plastic shopping bags and usage dropped by over 5 BILLION bags, thats BILLION, within about 19 months according to the NJ Food Council, an industry group for grocers & supermarkets. I also find it ironic that at around 3:12 an employee is handing a single use plastic water bottle to someone!

Apart from the start up cost, what dose it cost to keep that plant running, electric, property, payroll? Seeing how this plant works is amazing but reality can sink in if you can't pay the upkeep cost. Either way amazing video, thanks for making it!

Can plastic bags with stickers stuck to them be recycled? I tried to peel them off but sometimes they don't come off clean...
@dlsimon78 Жыл бұрын
I wonder the same. For things like shipping bags (think of amazon shipping bags instead of cardboard boxes), I've been cutting off the paper mailing labels, but I wonder if that isn't even necessary if the recycling process already takes this into account when contaminants are removed away from the plastic pellets.

You should have one or more recycling plant in each state of the union. Imagine all these plastic bags save from the garbage landfill and our waterways and being given new life. Can they make other items with those plastic pellets I wonder...Might be a profitable investment to look into starting one by some environmentalist entrepreneurs if there isn't one in their area.

I'm not a global warming wackjob like the left democrats are but I do believe in recycling and preserving our environment the most practical and best way and if I was President I would mandate that all plastic bag manufacturers must comply and comply and only offer bags in 1 to 2 colors maximum nothing more than that so it makes it more efficient and less costly to recycle them. Meanwhile we could use our brightest minds in our country to develop a fully biodegradable bag that's as strong as plastic. Maybe "SOY" based. They probably already have such a bag but I haven't seen it yet and I live in North East Pennsylvania. New Jersey went a little too far and they don't offer plastic bags at all without a alternative. However you got to start somewhere.

There so much plastic in the world if you banned making new plastics and was only allowed to recycle them you would see a dramatic drop in the amount of plastics entering the oceans and wildlife habits as companies would be only buying there plastic bottles bags e.c.t off companies that are recycling plastics, also these companies recycling plastics would make more money and would most likely pay large amout to other companies for supply large amounts of used plastics for them to recycle giving government or even private companies to invest in collecting plastics from the oceans, rivers, roadsides and wooded areas due to the fact that I would them be profitable to do so. The only issues would be being efficient enough in collecting plastics that you could pay staff and Still make a profit.

Bottom line here, her statement that "the dish is ALREADY there you might as well just go with that provider" is 100% false. Dishes are not, never reused. They are a incredibly cheap plastic item with metal attachments. - former DirecTV customer service operater

IF these WERE worth ANYTHING they would come up missing...honey, the no signal message...
@maryjackson71552 жыл бұрын
Satellite dishes are NEVER reused/reactivated by Direct TV or Dish Network. Each new account/customer gets a new dish, period. Yes, it looks horrible, cluttered & seems to be a waste of equipment. Having worked for DirecTV, specifically new customer accounts, everyone (including myself) believes the current dish will be used. The "official DirecTV" explanation to employees was those dishes are so cheap (many plastic) it is not cost effective to remove, the installer will LITERALLY put a new dish right beside a inactive one. To make matters worse, your service/line up may require 2 dishes. Therefore 2 satellite dishes at one address over the course of 10 years having 5 tenants, you do the math. Call each company & they will tell you to do whatever you choose with a old dish, hopefully your able to reach & remove yourself, drop off at the next community electronic recycling event. A creative option is to paint them, even your new one, it does NOT interfere or affect your signal or quality of service. You can also attach the dish to a fence post if the installer is able to get a signal.

Did everyone miss the comment in the video about bowling balls making their way far into the process that they get separated? How TF does that happen? Who sees a plastic bag recycling receptacle and inserts a bowling ball? Is this is the common sense of the world now?

I love to see a circular economy in action, but it feels weird to recycle plastic bags into more plastic bags. At some point we should be trying to convince consumers to stop using plastic bags, and producers to stop making them. This is just one facility that is recycling what percent of bags nationally? Cant be very high
