Great video (and music choice!). Came here as riders in this year's Trans-Pyrenees Race (No.4) have been using this pass to get to CP3 at Torla-Ordesa, Spain. So from the summit of this climb, they then have a steep off-road descent, with some hike-a-bike I believe into Spain. This was the most direct way for them to get from CP2 at the summit of the Col d'Aspin, via the Tourmalet and then this climb. Some riders were doing Tourmalet or this climb in the evening (late September); others were doing the steep off-road descent very early morning. Incredible!

I would love to test some of those off road. So far, the only I did in the Pyrenees was Pic du Midi (the road you can take at the top of Tourmalet) and I really recommend it. Thanks for the words!

Regarding my Top 5, it is difficult because it depends on the cyclist recovery after Tour. My initial bet is a UAE rider but only if they collaborate together and this is a difficult task!! As I do not trust they work together and Vlasov proved good I will bet on Roglic but I have doubts!! Therefore: 1. Roglic; 2. Almeida; 3. Yates; 4. Landa; 5. Rodríguez

Nice commentary, Diogo! Pogačar indeed was able to reap the profits from the work Jumbo | Lease a bike put. Let's see what the couple of mountain stages in the Alps have to say. Also the last stage, this year contrary to others finishing in Paris, promises to be interesting - TT from Monaco to Nice. This is, maybe, a stage where Evenpoel could shine.

Just checked the numbers and Pogacar did one of the best performances ever in cycling. 6.9 W/kg for almost 40 min. If he can stay within 3-5% of these numbers, there is no way he loses the Tour.

Portugal must be a nice country for cycling :) what's road traffic like and how do drivers treat cyclists? Nice bike BTW and video.
@diogolopescycling6 ай бұрын
It is very good country for cycling i'd say. We have plenty of everything, climbs, sea, gravel etc. Traffic is mostly in Lisbon and Porto but other than that is great. Especially in the interior of the country. Drivers are also ok. I'd say they are similar to France, Spain, and better than Italy lol

OK. The Bormio sign is at the top I now see. Why so big? Strange!! I thought I saw the beginning of the video, with a balcony. But maybe I dropped the cursor somewhere else.
