I may have a theory. Ancient builders went to the nether traveled through the soul sand valleys where the Ancient withers died and when they went through the portal they brought an Ancient fungus that feeds off the dead (connection is bones and death). At the same time they were constructing the citys in the deep dark areas away from the zombies virus outbreak on the surface. The Ancient builders could have died in the Ancient citys with the fungus evolving with the new darker environment. Souls of those Ancient builder remained there to protect their city as the fungus mutated and grown single cells organisms that could reanimate skeletal bones/dead host ( like a zombie fungus) and use vibration to sense its prey/meal

I think of how fungus consumes bones of the dead. Like fossils are found in soul sand Valleys and the skeleton structure of the warden when it comes out the ground. Like zombie fungus that controls their host (soul)

soul sand is reactive, and sculk is active, there is soul soil and soul sand, and soul soil has no faces on it, so its just a normal sand and when enough souls falls on that soul soil it emerges as faces, so there is no soul manipulation, steve has to make it himself or other builders. but the sculk goes out of his way to kill, get and use souls to expand because it is really alive

You can use a Blaze Rod in a furnace. So I would say that they do put off heat. I think that you are on to something. Blaze rods/powder is like the Minecraft equivalent to radioactive material.
@paladingeorge6098
@paladingeorge6098 7 күн бұрын
Honestly I just figured that blazes were elementals and blaze rods are just made out of some sort of material similar to thermite. Hence, the flammability that makes them a requirement for brewing potions or an alternative fuel source for the furnace. Their use in crafting light sources doesn't particularly make sense though unless you want to make some sort of argument that they temper the other ingredients like they do with potions. But hey, thats just a theory. A GAME THEORY

"I don't think its a machine" *Gives multiple reasons to indicate that it is a machine/golem* I didn't even know about the redstone/glow stone element until now. As we see in Minecraft dungeons redstone golems exist, so we know it's a component that can be used in golem based technology. A golem is essentially a machine/robot in the Minecraft universe as we've seen so far across the three games in the series, serving as guards or utility. A golem is really just something that's artificially made, what materials or the process that's used? depends squarely on whether or not it moves, that's what validates it standing as a golem/automaton. Though, in retrospect, a golem in the traditional sense could be seen as alchematic in nature, something made from magic to server a given purpose. Examples of "Golems/Automatons in history: Talos, King Alkinous of the Phaiakian's gold and silver watchdogs, or the literal jewish golem, which is the origin of the word in the first place. Technically, in creativism, humans are a form of golem, since, it's stated in the bible (for example) that people are made from dust or clay. The same sentiment is shared amongst creativists in yoruba and a couple other religions. Historical exposition aside: The sea guardians share a lot of similarities with iron golems;they both have mechanical elements, and with Minecraft dungeons we see a clear connection being drawn between villagers and ocean monuments, which is pretty interesting, isn't it? We have ocean ruins already, which are clearly ancient villager ruins, which further cements the possibility of guardians being a kind of golem developed by an older ancestor of the villagers we see today. They both protect structures in Minecraft, infact all of the creatures we see naturally spawning around structures serve as a kind of golem, except for the magma cube spawners. The sea guardian and blazes drop items that when crafted into other things - can be used as a light source, and clearly have mechanical qualities (refer to the audio files for the blaze and the mobestiary entry for the guardian. Some other mobs that fits into the category of "golem": Withers, ghasts & breezes.

Youre. Def onto something. I Personally think they are the result of the same thing (using souls) but the outcome is vastly different. One made the sculk one makes the wither. This means that both are artificial man made entities. Look at the ravager and the iron golems. They have something in common, both are created by another intelligent being. Just like the wither. We may have it erong, maybe the ancient builders were trying to make their own beast, like the villagers and pillagers, and in doing so, they destroyed everything by making the wither, so they looked to a new dimension, they split up some some made the ancient cities, some went on to make the strongholds, splitting up to increase their chances of survival. I think the guardians are one of the man made protectors, and one of the ancient tribes wanted to do the same thing, since everybody else had done it. And eventually they both make their own portals, except only one goes as planned, maybe the ancient city portal NEVER worked and they ended up creating an unholy beast by accident with the amount of souls they were using. The desert tribe may be the responsible tribe in creating the wither, I think that because of one reason, chiseled sandstone.

Soul sand probably has souls from the piglins, they would probably burry their dead in it because it was the only thing they didn't need a pickaxe for and then for some reason the souls got stuck in it

The wither kills everything because its main goal is extermination of all life, it wants all life to wither away Basically it is a god of death Its actually a good clashing of the wither which wants to destroy and the warden that wants to protect

Great video and I hope to see you growing on youtube but there is a few suggestions I want to make, when editing maybe try adding some sound effects or some background music, it will help a lot of people that cant concentrate in one thing lock in more on the video and second thing is trying to put more intonation in your voice, I know its like a different style but tht would also make it more interesting to watch. this is considering you want to invest in youtube and try to grow it, if you just do it as a hobby you could try the first option but dont bother forcing your voice, this style of comentary is really good for people that already like it, but harder to atract more people that are not used to it. No hate meant and all I wanted to do was try and maybe help you improve, sorry if I offended you at any point

Anyone else remember the time when chiseled stonebricks and mossy cobblestone couldn't be crafted, and jungle temples (and dungeons for mossy cobblestone) were the only places to get them from? Chiseled stonebricks were a really rare material back then because each jungle temple only had 3 of them.

i don´t really think that the "horsemen" used jungles to hide their buildings and burial sites. if it where jungles from the begin, it is more likely for the temples to be built by the residents. nomadic tribes all throughout earths history seemed to had buried their (important) people underground or inside of mountain ranges. or they just built burial mounds out of dirt and stones. maybe the builders where travellers, searching for a new home - maybe even becoming some kind of elite to the natives in that area. constructing buildings out of stone in an area where people mostly use wood and bones to make tools and homes, would be pretty impressive for the local inhabitants - especially if you have to carry those stones over from far away places. and a horse in full armor in the middle of a jungle might just be a rarity on it´s own - just like an elefant the the europe of the early middle ages.
@t.kersten7695
@t.kersten7695 Ай бұрын
when this structures where build, the jungles might not even have been jungles - at least not in this size. in our own world there are more and more theories and evidences who suggest, the american continents where very different back then before Columbus. only after so many of the native inhabitants died due to wars, diseases and colonisation in general, woods might have been able to spread across the continents - until later waves of settlers came a few centuries later, finding mostly dense woodlands. but today archaeologists seem to find more and more evidence that even the amazonian rain forests where less dense some few hundred years ago with lots of artificial created open space for villages and farmland.

I think that it makes more sense that the zombie piglins in the nether are ones that returned from the overworld after the invasion. This could be a reason as for why the Illagers fear them as they might not fear them as much if they were forced to retreat back to the nether. It makes sense that the Illagers used the curse during the invasion because that would be a good opportunity to do so as both sides are busy and weakened by war. But hey, that's just a theory.

I like the idea that the wandering trader(s) is the last of a once great mercantile guild that roved across a lavish country of wealth and opportunities before whatever cataclysmic event(s) wiped out the true human half of the population. A once great nation of trade no longer had any neighbors to trade with and fell into economic ruin.
