No hint of a limp. He was defeated fairly. You cannot develop a limp on the final 10 meters after noticing that it will not be five consecutively. Well done Kiprop. Am watching this 11 years later. 2021.

Tadese has never had a kick. His Stradegy is his pace. If you can stay with his pace until the last 400m, then you've got him. Still great runner though, don't get me wrong

His marathon best is something like 2:10, but he holds the WR in the half-marathon at 58:23 and a quick 26:37 at 10,000. I think he has only finished 2 or 3 marathons at best. I know London in 2012 he ran 2:12, and I think the 2:10 is London 2012. Can't recall any others. He's also won all but like 1 of the World Half Marathon champs since 2006. He has medalled a bunch at World Cross, and has a WC 10000m silver from 09 and Olympic bronze from 04.

Tadese always look like he is dying and struggling when he is running, especially from the hips up but needless to say this isn't the case in actuality. Now he just needs to figure out the marathon...but then again he might truly be a specific half-marathon runner.

OH! "half marathon! Oh, heck yeah. Those I'm familiar with. I run one about every 2 months. But he's saying "hoff merrithin", which I think is a Danish pastry or something. I was like "why are these guys running so hard for a stupid donut?". I mean, I realize Africans are starving and crap, but that's ridiculous. Yeah, "half marathon" makes more sense now that I think about it. When I'm finished running mine, though, I like the free donuts at the finish. Not Finnish donuts, but regular donuts.
