Wonder if AVC would leverage Nvidia Tensor cores to do a better job of the AI upscaling

I have an old Canon LiDE 20. But it back during my time in university, must've been 2003. It was great. Truly one of the best peripherals I ever had - until I moved to Windows 7 64bit and couldn't use it anymore due to non-existent drivers. VueScan would've made it work but it was way overprized for my budget back then. I found another option - but that also stopped working at some point (can't even remember what it was, it's all too long ago). During a short test of a Linux system I thought 'why not give the old Lide a try' and was dumbfounded to see it work flawlessly, without any issues, even without me having to install anything to make it work. Mind blown. Back on windows it's a dead device. Now, close to 20 years later I find out about NAPS2 for windows. Didn't have the scanner at hand to give it a try so I looked around and watched your video about 1-2 weeks ago, downloaded the portable version und put it aside for when I have time to give it a try. The time was now... and it's not working. What a bummer. Sure, I may have set things up incorrectly, I don't know. You have to setup a profile but my scanner doesn't show up (two other models do though, LiDE 25 and LiDE 60, presumably compatible with the LiDE 20 - both same result). I don't know if I need to use WIA or TWAIN driver (pretty sure it has to be the latter as only with that the scanners show up in the first place to select one)... I'm kinda lost.

I have a few questions I am totally new at doing this so bear with me. First question my desktop computer is saying that I need to free up space and its slow and not allowing me to download things because I need the space if I put everything on an external drive is it safe to delete the files on the desktop computer? Second question after I delete the files on the desktop, and I plug the external hard drive back in can I pull specific files to put back onto the desktop or does it automatically put everything back into the computer? Last question I need a large external drive greater that 10 TB can you recommend a good one?

The best way to do to your DVD is get a better copy of it on Blu-ray or UHD and rip the better replacement copy and throw that DVD in the trash can, Very few DVD's didn't make it to better formats and the ones that didn't not worth watching anyway.

shouldnt need anything if the tolerances were closer to true flat on both surfaces.. the paste just fills the gaps

You make things less complicated compared to Seagates own video for copying a music file. Buy I need to rename the file because I have a copy of another music file on my newer laptop? So I suspect I need to create a new file name for music and copy music to the new music folder?

I use topaz for that with a 3070ti and a I9 12900h its way faster and the result is even better. I would not compress the DVD rip before enhancing

I'm looking at these and the colored lights were on the black model, the faux wood and colored models only have white lights. I want the white lights on the black model or an option for white with the colors or one color overall.

So, I know this is really old and you probably won't see this, but I did this, and now I can't get it back to normal. I only did the first bit, by ending the task. Hi Kyle, i have a windows 10 and it keeps telling me to back it up on onedrive. I don't want sensitive info in the cloud. I have a 2 terabyte drive about one third to one half full of videos, poctures and documents. Can i create a folder and back the pc up there? How much space will i need to back it up?

With these combined, I am forgetful and undecided, quite often. However, I have this morning found your channel and listened to your information on backups. It is so clear and well-paced that even for me, I will be able to do the necessary backups, as needed, as I have an external drive already. I can give my opinion in one word. BRILLIANT. Recommended for anyone like myself-likes computers, but never been a 'whiz kid'.😁😁☺☺
