This series inspired me to just host a testing solo session with my friend because the two of us can’t seem to find a dm or other players. So tonight I played my first ever dnd session and therefore successfully ran my first ever session as a dm and it was fcking amazing. We’re running this sht on pure chaos, a random stone named Thorsten resurrected my friends Ranger, who is satirically unintelligent but hella charismatic, in fact so charismatic that she weaseled her way out of a chasing and fighting sequences by dressing up as a water and an earth Mephid. With her trusted fox that she named after me, that she hasn’t realized can teleport and shoot fire because I improvised and pulled a random stat block for a fox that really isn’t a regular old fox on their way to the fey wild because as Thorsten resurrected the Ranger he mentioned to her that he was from the fey wild and she wants to give him back to his home. Idk how sessions usually go but she had a tutorial on how to fight, she made creative solutions to problems I presented her with, she aced all her npc interactions and learned of the mechanics of manipulation, shopping and long rest so yeah I think it was fun and a decent tutorial session that now grew over my head and definitely needs a part two (Help how do I let a level three character into the fey wild without them immediately kicking the bucket)

I crave it so badly to finally get to play my first ever campaign. I’ve been into dnd for a while and I think by know I have listened to at least three different long campaigns and a couple one shots and already made three and drew one character I’d like to play but I can’t seem to find a campaign so this is the closest I get currently to a real campaign :,)

Hello, I hope you've been well! I know you've not made a video for a while and I don't know if you plan to come back, but I wanted to make a request on the off chance that it is something you would be interested in making a video of. I was trying to find an asmr video about the history of the forgotten realms, or some kind of lore about the realms, but I can't seem to find any. I thought it might be a good thing to make a video of as there isn't really anything like it out there (that I can find at least) and other people might be interested too. Maybe a lore video would be a nice thing to come back to - but I don't know your preferences, what do you think?
