Sue was right to call out Mr. Schuster about playing favorites and picking songs that were obviously highly inappropriate for kids, etc

Sue made a good point about Will performing Blurred Lines. One of many examples of Mr. Schuester being a terrible teacher, creepy even.

I'm so glad that this show didn't take itself too seriously and could recognize when the main character was being really weird

You can say everything what you want about Sue's actions, but part of why we like her and hate Will, is that she knows she's terrible and the show correctly frames her as the bad guy when she is, whilst Will is a creepy, toxic teacher and he is portrayed as a role model. Because of real life and whilst not exclusive, male teachers are the primary ones indulging and getting away with crossing sexual boundaries with students, this rightfully draws our anger because Will unintentionally is a symbol of rape culture.

"I want you to listen to what you just said, Willliam. You're asking me to treat this girl differently because she has a disability. When actually, it seems to me, she just wants to be treated like everybody else." Sue's friendship with Becky was just so beautifully written.

As a teenager I thought Sue was a villain, as an adult I'm kinda on her side. The comment saying Will is the true villain is also right. It's an interesting issue anyway. (similar to the case of Daniel being the true villain on Cobra Kai/Karate kid.)

he made their situations so much worse. he watched them getting bullied and did nothing about it. he alienated them by calling them "minorities". that whole drug thing with finn was horrible. he was making threats for no reason when he could've just said i heard you singing and want to offer you a spot in the glee club bc i think you're talented. which brings me to, he did *NOT* have to creep on him in the shower. finn was singing super loudly.

Sue is progressive in this series. She allows normality to those who have handicapped (she calls them names but then again she isn't really a soft woman, she doesn't coddle them. She believes that hardship strengthens children) and has a right mindset about exposing sexuality to children

Ok, but she was really horrible with that first one though. As someone with autism, hearing that from a teacher that's supposed to help me would destroy me. Teachers shouldn't bully their students, least of all vulnerable ones that wouldn't understand. Yes, if they have a disability, you have to treat them differently.
