Radio Heart. The verse has potential but the chorus is just way too cheesy even by 80's standards so no wonder it bombed. I thought the interviewer was ok and they'd obv met a few times.

I haven't ever had chance to watch this before. It was really great seeing Gary so comfortable in an environment he truly loved. The two of them were delightful with a nice rapour together.

So much takes me back to the late 70's, early 80's. Set reminds me of his 1980 tour obviously. September 1980 when I first saw this guy. Southampton. Nash the Slash backed him up. I'm sure it was his fault I've got tinnitus. Happy days, where did all that time go.

I was at the Ritz on the previous night. Of course, we already have Replicas and the Pleasure Principle live on dvd, but the 45 Anniversary tour was a triumph. I purchased the 45th Anniversary 7" single too. Gary is now taking a well-earned break.

@@outpost31737 Why do people willingly take his comments on that topic out of context? He was never interested in doing novelty 80s nostalgia tours around the country with other bands of that era. Plenty have done so, but Numan has always been true to his word and never got involved. These anniversary type tours he does don't really come under the nostalgia tours heading for me. He's got a rich back catalogue that would be criminal to ignore. It's just one string to his bow, though. He's still current and still not only makes new music but also tours it tirelessly. He's far from a washed-up has-been living purely off something he did over 40 years ago, like many on the nostalgia circuit are.
