@@hooksknotslove1528 the thing people who make tutorials should remember is that people watch to learn something, not to listen to music. Sometimes a very quiet soothing bakground music is OK, but hammering background music simply irritates and detracts from a positive learning experience.

@@hooksknotslove1528 - I love crochet as well as Amigurumi. Some of the top “amigurumist” ( I made up that word) do not make a sound ! Can you imagine. I learned how to read crochet patterns from a Amigurumist artist. She teaches round by round. The Instructions are stated at the top of the screen at the start of each round. That was the beginning of how I learned to read a crochet pattern. I perfected it through studies and practice. So it doesn’t matter if the instructor speaks or not. It’s a matter of preference. I can follow either way. Your instructions are very clear. And you present the work clearer than anyone I have watched. I truly mean this. I have watched this video very carefully. It’s beautiful. You do not block your stitches while working. Now the volume. Obviously there was a technical issue. I don’t think you would take the time and energy to create something for the viewers- for us to not understand it. Some don’t realize just how much work goes into a project like making a you tube video. I have made very short clips of my projects , to send to family for recommendations or opinions. It’s not the easiest thing to do and takes time. I would not comment or criticize this tutorial, Because you are here to teach, and was probably aware. Please do not stop making videos. While I don’t need this type of instruction anymore, I do so enjoy watching them. Especially if it is a new stitch to me. It’s like making a project with friends. It’s 3 years now since I resumed crocheting. It had been decades of not knitting crocheting etc. I was wondering -why did I stop? Lol it’s so relaxing and therapeutic. And It’s rewarding to make something nice. I appreciate you Thanks again 🙏🏼☺️

Also, as you edit from your own personal computer, the volume is adjusted at your computer settings and not the viewers. My son is a tech and he said "momma you can't worry how the viewers hear. ... they have to adjust their volume" :) This video took over two weeks splicing ... inserting .... you name it. I had to go with what I thought was good enough for viewing. Currently working on my next tutorial project and I hope in due time, my video improves. Speaking of rewarding -- it feels good to know that someone out there appreciate what you do and get you. And once the project is done and completed -- it is gratifying!!! (Not sure what happened to my comment...??) Anyway, just letting you know I sub’d. Also...it would help A LOT if you could turn music down and your voice up. The instructions were good and the lighting, choice of yarn/backdrop, the zoom in of camera, were all good. (Things that most newbies get wrong...even some not newbies! Lol) unsure if you watch any other tutorial channels...but, Heart Hook Home; Bog O Day; Tamara Kelly (Moogly); MJs Off the Hook; and TCDDIY are just a few that do the video tutorials well (though TCDDIY could zoom in more to improve her technique). These would be good channels to learn from...esp Bag O Day, I believe her channel is the largest...but she does almost daily content, and a variety of content. Oh!! Hooked by Robin!!! She I’d excellent at tutorials!! She from England, but her camera/videography and tutorials are superb!! Def check her out if you don’t know her channel!!
