Hi, I have aquestion regarding the use of mechanical module. Do I require bricCAD pro license and mechanical license to have a system working or I can only purchase and use mechanical module. ( My intent is to use and design piping segments while in mechanical module). Thanks

Hello Is it possible to use the SHIFT-Key+Combination somehow ? Apparently it's not possible, but in Autocad it is - which deprives the user of a large number of combination shortcuts...
@BricsysOfficial15 күн бұрын
Hi there! You can customize the Shift and/or Ctrl combination keyboard shortcuts through the Customize dialog when selecting the Keyboard tab. The following SHIFT key combinations used in AutoCAD are also applicable in BricsCAD. CTRL+SHIFT+C - Copy with a base point CTRL+SHIFT+V - Paste with a base point CTRL+SHIFT+Tab - To switch between open drawings and home screen CTRL+SHIFT+S - To save a drawing in a different name. Hope this helps!

@@BricsysOfficial i tried in the shortcut menu- when i press shift - bricyscad displays me the major letter instead a SHIFT + … combination. Paradoxly while importing autocad- cuis into bricscad - it works for the old shortcuts used in autocad .. if you could help me out would be nice

I wonder if the developers of BrickCad BIM have any idea of what an architect does and how? I get the feeling that they don't. It is impossible to find a single informative video close to real work or a real process. It is impossible to use this program professionally. It is a sketchup level, it is not a BIM program. the program is purely for entertainment. if you need to make even a simple house project and then display information about the volumes of materials used (how many cubes of reinforced concrete, how many square meters of brickwork, plaster, tiles, paint, etc.). with this program you will not do this, you will lose a lot of time, then open any other BIM program and do it intuitively in a day of work.

@@BricsysOfficial Sorry if my comment was rude. In fact, it is not. It's just that most video presentations do not give a complete picture of any of the areas of building design. For example, both in Revit and Archicad, at the very beginning you can set the floor levels and start drawing on the desired floor, then switch to the next floor, turn on the previous floor in the background and continue designing. How to do this in your program is completely unclear and there is not a single video on this topic. Yes, I can assume that your program has a different principle, a different approach, but there is no information about this and people who want to switch to your product do not understand. With my comments, I just wanted to ask you to show an example (even a very simple house with a couple of floors, a foundation and a roof) the entire process of working from the building axes, setting the floor heights, ending with the output of information: plans, sections, facades, specifications and volumes of materials.

@@VFedosOFF appreciate your detailed reply - this is useful feedback and I will pass this on to the team so we can work on creating more detailed videos demonstrating the entire workflow. Thanks again!

Please make a video of a complete sequence of an architect's work (at least using the example of a primitive house with 4 walls): a couple of foundation pads, columns, floor and walls (consisting of several layers), a couple of windows and doors. And then show how you get a specification of materials: volume of concrete, how many square meters of brickwork, plaster, paint, floor covering? This is an elementary process in any BIM program (Archicaad, Revit, AllPlan, etc.), but how to do this in your program is completely unclear. It looks like the most difficult BIM program on the market.
