I've been watching some of your videos and noticing a lot of very small mistakes that add up in the long run. Just a few things I've noticed from this match alone. First off you just run up and 6b or 66BK a few times in this match, if it works it works, but at a high level you actually have to play neutral. Happens a ton in this video and it seems to me you just want to skip neutral and run your offenses ASAP. This may work on beginners like the Ivy in this video, but you will get blown up by good players for just swinging like that. at 1:17 I don't know why you went for the LH there since it scales horribly, I'd only really use this to end around but it's not as much a mistake as a judgment call, maybe you thought the slightly extra damage and position were worth it. Sheild Break at 1:29, not a combo. You could have done much more damage there but you just mashed B 3:20 dropped combo. Not just in this match, but others I've seen of yours you give up so much damage and position of a game over combos that should be second nature by now. Overall my thoughts are you seem to have a good idea on what to do with Raphael, but you neglect so much of his neutral tools (I rarely see you use 2K, 1K, 3K, A, B or BB, 6B IP BB or 6B IP BK, you just start swinging), you neglect his amazing punish game (I never see you attempt any of the 46 Lethal hits.) If I were you and wanted to improve, the next steps would be developing your neutural and polishing up your punish game (both combos and refreshing on Raph's Amazing Lethal hits you neglect.) Just my 2 cents, I think you are a pretty decent Raph all and all

I mean I've managed to reach B rank which is my highest rank since SCV. I'm not a pro with Raph and yes I usually try to go full offence with him and focus on his mix ups rather than his evades especially against characters like ivy and astaroth. If i out offence the opponent then I practically usually win. He does have a lot of defensive tools and evades i know, but I usually have a hard time reacting to moves of the oponent in the heat of battle so I don't use them often. Thanks for the constructive criticism though I appreciate that.

@@bloodangel7731 what you're doing will best the majority of people on ranked, but if you ever get that itch to improve it's attention to detail that will get you there. If you are on PC I recommend doing Jchensor's Parsec Causals, a lot of strong players, as well as just trying to run sets with better players. If you are happy where you are at no need to worry about it. Enjoyed the videos either way.

@@bloodangel7731 You did mildly better, though I still just saw you run up and do 66b and neutral and get hit for it. I am still seeing a trend of unoptimal combos, for example like around 149 of that match, you landed SE B near the wall and you could have done so much more damage, as well as several missed Soul Attack Reverse mixup oppurtunities.
