Omg I just discovered this song. So sad but so true about our independent sons. The adventurers. The ones who fill our hearts so full, and then they leave. Lost one of my sons to drugs 5 yrs ago. The other is an independent soul, free spirit, lover of the outdoors. 😢♥️

Lost my only son 10/07/18. He was only 22. He served our country and was spared from war. He returned home to me safely yet just a few short months after arriving home, a car accident claimed the life of my child. This song I found was random but the lyrics somehow touch me and make me feel closer to him. Gently they kiss my ears as if to say, "momma, I’m safe- at last I’m free!".

Thank you for sharing. I would like to think that we all get our own 'endings' once we Step Into the Door to Somewhere Else but we can see our loved ones & family From a Window when we want so we can see if they are OK & not burdened by more then we can handle. Some Spirits will come back & wait for us to help with our Passing when it's our time to Step Through, too. Only takes a single infinite thought for them. We will see them again when it's time to Go for Another Journey. If we hold onto them with endless grief, they worry about us from the Window or even 'hover' nearby us instead of Journeying. That very phrase, 'We're safe! We're free! We're happy & can wait until you're ready! We want you to be happy, too! Please allow yourself to understand & feel the infinite love of the universe again!' I've heard it myself so many times. When someone you Love becomes a Memory, that Memory become a Treasure. We hear them in our Dreams & Midnight Good Songs.
