The reason I got the 2024 rs6 avant performance was because of the hp bump from 591 to 621. Now the base model has the same output. Disappointing Audi decided to do this.
@AUTOTVO55 минут бұрын
I totally get that! I think they should’ve kept a bigger gap between the models to better differentiate them. It’s always nice when you can feel like you have something a little more exclusive. What do you think Audi should’ve done differently?

Embarrassing that thing brand new is $100k. And the interior looks like dog crap. Still using fake leather/pleather for a car that cost six figures. That is out right embarrassing. This is what hiring H1B visa Indians instead of Americans gets ya - cutting cost, but charging you a premium. My 17 year old Mercedes that cost $36k in 2008 came with FULL real leather interior, and interior has held up and looks great and runs amazing to this day. In 6 months, that Tesla interior will have aged badly, won’t even last you a decade.

I love my '24 Tucson Limited. I've had it for a year now. I got it with every option, bell, & whistle, and it came in right at $42k. I test drove 13 brand new similar vehicles at 11 different dealerships, and nothing really came close. I liked the Outlander at first, but it was removed from my list as soon as I found out it has a CVT transmission.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Damian! It sounds like your ’24 Tucson Limited has been an incredible choice, especially with all the bells and whistles at that price. I picked up the ultimate plug-in hybrid version last week! We love it! I'm not sure what the seat issue is on some of these from reading the comments, however our seats are very comfortable and full leather on the ultimate phev. Driving around in all electric is a new experience and delightful. We charge at home with the charger that came with the car plugs into a regular outlet and fills it up in 11 hours if it's totally empty so overnight while we sleep. It has multiple drive settings and is great in the snow with the all-wheel drive. When running the heater the engine does come on to keep the coolant warm however, it primarily just idles as the battery continues to drive the car forward while you still have charge left. Our battery did reach zero a few days ago when we were heading home. However, it still continued to run on EV mode only for another 4 km or so which surprised me. I assumed once it hit zero it would run in hybrid only and I guess there was still some battery left that could be used in EV.
@AUTOTVOКүн бұрын
Congrats on your new Tucson Ultimate PHEV! It sounds like an amazing experience so far, especially with the smooth all-electric driving and home charging convenience. Great to hear it’s handling well in the snow with the AWD, too. The EV mode running for a bit even after the battery hit zero is a pleasant surprise! Wishing you many enjoyable miles ahead!

Live in Ontario, Canada where there's 4 feet of snow and temps were running around 5 F. Leasing a 2023 Extended. First, put a set of snow tires on. The thing is like a tank in the snow. And with the weight, solid traction. Yes, travel distances are compromised, but only around 15%. Excited about the heat exchanger in the 2025, the steering column toggle, and the new colours. The smaller frunk is not a big deal; rarely use mine. Good video review, and keep up the good work Ford.

WHY DIDNT MITS DEVELOP THE BEAUTIFUL XFORCE INSTEAD OF TAKING SOMETHING OLD LOOKING FROM RENAULT & MADE IN SPAIN !!!
@AUTOTVO2 күн бұрын
Great point, William! The XForce does have a modern and striking design that could have made a strong impact. Mitsubishi’s decision to use Renault’s platform for the ASX might have been for efficiency, but many fans would have loved a more unique, in-house design. 17.1kWh battery is pathetic, needs to have 65 miles of range at least, so a 22-24kWh battery would be a far better solution and when you use in Hybrid from a full battery. Then the economy, and range, would be where it needs to be.

@AUTOTVO2 күн бұрын
Great question, Lauri! The CLE focuses more on sporty design, so its rear legroom is slightly more limited compared to the E class, which prioritizes comfort and space. If rear legroom is a key factor for you, the E-Class might still be the better choice!

Is it available without the vomit yellow seat belts? Is there a blind to screen the glass roof (I don't like panoramic roofs but they seem to be almost mandatory in EVs for some reason). If you can buy it without the glass roof or yellow seat belts that would be ideal but manufacturers seem to be making cars with fewer options.
@AUTOTVO2 күн бұрын
Great questions! The yellow seat belts are part of Polestar’s signature design, but they might not be everyone’s cup of tea. As for the glass roof, it doesn’t come with a blind, which can be a downside for those who prefer less light. Unfortunately, options like removing the glass roof aren’t available, as manufacturers are indeed simplifying configurations. Hopefully, they’ll offer more flexibility in the future!

While the 2025 Hyundai Tucson is probably the best SUV in the segment you're totally wrong about the comfort. The limited trim which should have the best seats it actually has the worst seats of any car I have ever owned or tested which is extensive. There is a horseshoe-shaped plastic trim underneath the headrest that is painful to tall people and hit short people in the head and it's amazing that Hyundai actually brought this into production. Hopefully it will be the subject of a mandatory recall and replaced. Also the smart regeneration on the Hybrid requires five steps every time you start the car even though it should be set automatically once selected.
@AUTOTVO2 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback, Tom! It’s surprising to hear about the seat design issues, definitely something Hyundai should address, especially for a top trim like the Limited. The smart regeneration requiring multiple steps also sounds frustrating; having it save your preferences would be much more user-friendly. Hopefully, Hyundai takes note of these concerns for future updates or recalls. Appreciate your insight!
