"In film you get 2 stops: 2 up, 2 down!" Imagine the difference checking out out a recent Vision3 negative film, compared to slide film, that's got over 16 stops of DR! Quotes like this, the way he teaches you everything, I could listen to him talk about this for hours!! Very cool. Love it.. “smell the past”, lol. I’ve had a couple of similar experiences with my kids when showing them movie cameras - 8mm ones & my Bolex H16s. They got the hang of it after a bit of trial and error. Of course they prefer the ease of cell phone and GoPro video.. There’s nothing like film to document our lives. Nice set of prime lenses on his H16. Thanks for this! I’d love to see more videos with your dad in them. He’s great!
