This is definitely the best car in this class. And that say I am as a BMW 5 sedan driver.

Wow, that’s high praise coming from a BMW 5 Series driver! The Mazda 3 definitely punches above its weight with its premium feel and driving dynamics. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I wonder what will be the look of the next Mazda design
@RidetheEastАй бұрын
Absolutely agree! Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy already offers incredible elegance and dynamism. If they push this further with future models, we might see sharper lines, bolder grilles, and more minimalist details that could truly surprise us. With the transition to electric vehicles, a simpler yet more high-tech look could also come into play. I’m really excited to see what Mazda has in store for its next designs. What kind of innovations do you think they’ll bring?

Starting with the 2025 Toyota Camry, the V6 engine is no longer available. Toyota has shifted its focus to hybrid and turbocharged engines, aiming for a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.

I will all in on getting the Prius, but then I found the Camry is comparable in fuel efficiency while giving me the things I was prepared to sacrifice on the Prius.

This new interior design in comparison to the 2022/23 is so Disappointing!! What swayed me between Kia and all otger cars in that category was the unique dash/screen integration, the best I’ve seen in a modern car to date making it stand out from its competitors who have a clumsy screen awkwardly stuck on top of dash, which is also distracting! From a top class dash/screen integration to extremely basic… I’d hoped at the very least Hyundai would keep that unique style, and perhaps change the outer body, huge mistake as all its competitors are now in line with the same interior dash, actually I’ll go a step further, the new Tucson dash is a tray to store junk! It’s awful and for that reason I’m out! I’ll not be trading in my 2023 model for this new look next year!
@RidetheEastАй бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's interesting how the unique dash/screen integration made such an impact for you. I agree that Hyundai's previous designs stood out for their innovation and clean look. It’s unfortunate when changes feel like a step back. Do you think they might consider going back to the more integrated style in future models? Your perspective adds great value to this discussion!
@gobradАй бұрын
@ Yes hopefully the bring back the integration… By far Tucson is leading in it’s category in price, style and drive… and I was looking forward to trading in this coming June, But when I seen this new interior??? It’s awful… not only have they changed from a beautiful sleek integrated style, but they’ve totally revamped the entire dashboard to tacky and awkward! I’d imagine trying to clean round the screen, and the small box like trays, in days would be cluttered!! It was totally ahead of its competitors, now it’s on a par. Certainly below on interior … One thing I’d like to bring attention on is the side windows not clearing rain and dirt when lowered… Must be a defect as I’ve heard many complain bout the rubber seal not in contact with screen! Do you have that experience ?
@RidetheEastАй бұрын
@@gobrad The Tucson really set the bar high with its previous design, and that sleek, integrated dashboard was one of its best features. It’s disappointing to hear they’ve changed it to something less practical and more awkward. Cleaning around those small trays and screens does sound like a nightmare! As for the side window issue, I haven’t experienced it personally, but I’ve definitely heard others mention the same problem with the seals. It’s surprising they haven’t addressed it yet, especially since it seems to be a common complaint. Hopefully, they’ll take this feedback seriously and make improvements. Have you thought about exploring other options, or are you still considering the Tucson despite these concerns?

@RidetheEastАй бұрын
You're absolutely right! The 2025 Camry has transitioned away from the V6, and now it's all about the hybrid and turbocharged options in the U.S. market. Toyota seems to be focusing on efficiency and performance balance. What are your thoughts on this shift?
@joffyjazzАй бұрын
@@RidetheEast I'm currently driving a Maxima, so I don't know how I feel about the V6 being discontinued. That being said, there's not much need for it around me with all the speed reductions and enforcement cameras. I wouldn't mind getting over 40 mpgs either. I'll also have to see how the cvt transmission is.
@RidetheEastАй бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The Maxima's V6 is definitely a classic, and I understand how you might feel about the shift. That being said, the push toward hybrid and turbocharged options does have its perks, especially when it comes to fuel efficiency-over 40 mpg sounds pretty tempting! As for the CVT, it has come a long way in terms of refinement, but I’d love to hear your impressions if you get a chance to test one. Let me know what you think!

I just got a Mazda 3 its a nice car however not fan to fact there no option for touch screen on sat nav and the the controls use it are clunky and time consuming to use
@RidetheEast2 ай бұрын
The Mazda 3's infotainment system does take a bit of getting used to, especially with the rotary controller instead of a touchscreen. Mazda designed it this way to minimize distraction, aiming to keep drivers’ eyes on the road. It can feel clunky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it tends to be quite intuitive. Hopefully, the sleek design and performance of the car make up for it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts-it’s always great to hear different perspectives!

@@RidetheEast I prefer touch screen me and my father spent whole hour with it yesterday and concluded it's clunky using the wheel search letters for for addresses and locations. My father was going to buy a Mazda 3 as well however he couldn't as he relies heavily on sat nav for delivery and he is not strong knowledge person when it comes to this way putting address in search he needs something that is easy use like touch screen and fast duo jobs and delivering hot food. It's not practical I hope Mazda changes this as I'll be resulting in using my mobile over this system
@RidetheEast2 ай бұрын
I totally understand-using the rotary dial to enter addresses can be a bit time-consuming, especially if you're used to a touchscreen. Mazda opted for this setup to reduce distractions, but I get how it might feel clunky if you're relying on it for quick navigation, especially for deliveries! Many drivers do end up using their phones instead for the ease of touchscreen input. Hopefully, Mazda considers adding a touchscreen in future models for people who want that faster option. Appreciate you sharing this feedback

Isn’t there also a hybrid model too? Or was that the cx-50?
@RidetheEast2 ай бұрын
Great question! Currently, the Mazda 3 doesn't have a dedicated hybrid model, but Mazda has hinted at plans to introduce more hybrid technology across their lineup in the future. However, it's the Mazda CX-50 that offers a hybrid variant, combining Mazda’s efficient design with hybrid technology to enhance fuel economy and reduce emissions. Mazda’s strategy has been to start introducing hybrid and electrified models more heavily with their SUV lineup, which includes the CX-50, rather than the Mazda 3. Keep an eye out, though-Mazda’s push for hybrid options might expand to the Mazda 3 in upcoming model years as part of their evolving eco-friendly strategy!
