I also installed the shiny metal connector along with the two pins. (Yes, the small pin is hard to install but you can do it...). After 2 weeks, under full throttle, the entire metal assembly went off, allowing diesel fuel to cover the engine. On the side of the freeway, I was able to re-install the assembly. Luckily the two pins were still on the assembly. I was hoping maybe I in-correctly installed the two pins to the connector during the initial install.... Getting back on the freeway, the entire assembly blew off for the second time. The final "emergency" fix to get me home: I installed two tie-wraps around the long pin, compressing it tightly to the metal assembly. I'm thinking the OEM FORD fuel return line assembly might be the best way to go, even though it cost $$$. Note: My new fuel filter is OEM Ford Motorcraft, so the nipple on the end of the fuel filter should be the correct size to hold the metal assembly on..... One question, can one install the entire OEM fuel return harness without lifting the cab?? Or maybe go with the HS Motorsports conversion kit. The conversion kit is all metal and looks good....

@@williambanzhof9739 I have no idea how difficult it is to replace that line. I have never had a problem with it blowing off. I think I have maybe 250,000 miles on it since I put that part on and I haul very heavy campers in the mountains.it's never blown off

Second stupid video. Hey, don't over fill the tank dummy. The air filter gets air through the big vents on the bottom of the air box. These clowns pretending they are "improving" this generator by removing the gas vapor collector. It saves the gas so you can use it. How dumb can people be?
