How many rounds you got on the optic I just ordered the red one I usually run sig or vortex but got tired of having to zero after every battery change.. just looking for some info so I can send it back in time if it doesn't hold up.. I don't plan on running thousands of rounds through it before my return window will close..

I've been running the votatu weapon lights on several of my rigs and love them for the price point just didn't know about the dot standing up to recoil.. thanks for the info..

@Codytaylor0314 you're welcome this dot is reliable and as far as Vortex dots go they suck I have had 3 vipers fail I would run a cyelee, Zulisy or Votatu any day over Vortex

Looks good, I would definitely have to tune that trigger weight way down. On a 1911 / 2011 I really like a 2.5 to 4 lb max trigger pull myself. Thanks for sharing Brother.

I took a look at the stuff EAA had at Shot. Some really nice pistols! On the trigger pull, I bet they lighten up a tad with use maybe? 7.5Lb trigger is really heavy though. Might be worth asking them about. That takedown is similar to some other 1911 pistols with bushing less barrels. Looks awesome with the dot and streamlight! Hope you have a great weekend brother. I like the look of the gun, but the trigger pull really needs attention. Personally, I'd send it back. It is way outside of their spec and not at all proper for its intended role

@@killadocg23 I get what you're saying. I'm a gunsmith so yeah, I can fix it. Just taking everything apart and working on the mainspring, sear and hammer, Possibly the trigger bow itself if it is dragging, reassembly a few times to measure the pull does take longer than 5 minutes. The point is nobody should have to fix a brand-new gun and the average guy (without proper training) should not be playing with a 1911 trigger
