One thing I did was remove the heel shifter as it locked my foot in the center of the floorboard and now i can move both feet to the rear and it gives me a wider range of motion and sitting positions. My bike is quite a bit lighter than yours but the 16 inch front and rear fat tires only look cool but make it handle curves like I'm riding an elephant, lol

@bobjohnson9597 I've got the heel shifter but it had been removed before I got the bike.....

I just noticed you put a windshield on, nice touch. Ive always rode with one on all my bikes , why people might ask? Well it's because I ride- year round, rain or shine. Its always been funny to me when someone claims to be a biker an then proclaims there bikes never seen rain. Watching your video's makes me consider a vacation in your country.

@bobjohnson9597 yeah, wouldn't do a long journey without it tbh. I do like the look without it as well though.....

Great video-ride. That is the town/city of my ancestors. Most of the people in rural East Tennessee ancestry is Scotland. I've recently bought a Fatboy Lo but I've always owned and loved the Sporter, 6 up to now. Ive owned 3 1970s era Triumphs and 2 of them were stolen. This year I bought a 2024 Triumph Scrambler 400X and that is the most versatile and fun bike I ever had. I own an 05 MotoGuzzi and Its a great bike too. I also owned a 77 BMW RS100 for almost 7 years and it was awesome. My Fatboy is not my favorite big bike yet but Im going to try and replace the tires for skinnier size in fact I will try and replace the feont 16 inch for a 19 inch since I live in some of the best curvy roads on the country. Appalachian mountains. What size front and rear are on your bike?

@bobjohnson9597 thanks. My tyres are standard 18 0n front and 19 0n rear. I do like the fatboy and wouldn't mind an older evo version. I've had dozens of bikes over the years, Honda, yamaha, kawasaki, triumph, bmw, ducati and suzuki. As well as my King I also have a 650 V-Strom which I ride over the winter and on some camping trips where there's likely to be a lot of single track roads. The triumph scrambler 400 does look like a fun bike......

any damage?

@camouflage962 hi, fortunately no damage at all. I was actually stationary and was able to let the bike down gently. Only damage was to my pride 🤣

@@Bobs-yeruncleglad to know... I am riding a RK, too. While being on long haul trips the handling of my RK requires quite some caution due to luggage taken along, notably when encountering unskilled & equally disrespectful RV pilots on narrow roads... these idiots are flooding the rosds across Europe... Ride safely, Bro !

Nice little trip. Wow! very lucky with the weather this time of the year. Been up to Applecross a few times whilst heading further north on various bikes including my 1998 Road King classic. In clear blue skies but on other occasions not so lucky. Fantastic scenery. Enjoyed the video. Cheers! and safe riding.

Video is good and picture is stable. Which SD card are you using? I seem to be picking up a twitch in the camera at 1 second intervals like its compensating for light continuously.

I'm just using the card that came with the drone...
