Guitar solos on punk means one thing. It means that the guy in charge of that position is a really skilled and dedicated to his instrument. And also they probably heard the big ones who wanted to hide behind the excuse of "GUitar solos on punk is stupid, big jams are boring" When we know that most of those guys said that guitar solos are really too hard to play . Johnny Ramone being one of them. I mean, don't get me wrong, Johnny Ramone was great at his playing , and probably cited as the main guy that comes to most people's minds.

Incredible band, no wonder kurt Cobain loved these guys so much. He turned alot of kids onto these incredible bands that deserved to be heard by a hell.of alot more people who love Punk Rock and other genres of Rock n Roll. You can hear the influence.

I bought the compilation "Cleanse the bacteria" in 1985. There was a band I never heard called The Execute. The song "Slash" was on the record. THAT WAS IT - I have absolutely LOVED the band since then. THEN I bought the compilation album P.E.A.C.E/War . The song "Finale"(Final attack) was on there. I have searched hi and low for ANYTHING on them. Fast forward to now... I am so thankful for people like you who share the bands videos and music!! THANK YOU!

This is the Damned in rehearsals in a basement studio/rehearsal space that used to be halfway up Gerard Street on the same side that the Chinese cake shops are. It's now the basement of either a hair salon or a noodle restaurant. Google it & you'll see that loads of punk bands used it.

I understand these kids and their pride in their country, their pride in being English. I admire that they wear the Union Jack with enthusiasm. I understand their will to preserve British culture and the fight against Communism. I never understood the swastika though. It’s difficult to fathom how hard their fathers and grandfathers fought during the war and how much suffering England went through during that time. British strength is second to none and the Union Jack triumphs over the Swastika Flag in culture, ideals, and influence on World History.
