I grew up in Dargaville and went camping there before there was a road or any trout in the lakes. We found a Maori canoe and a gum digger hut with a wooden boat there as well. in the 60's. Huge eels live in the lakes and full of freshwater crayfish. Sand like sugar and a beautiful part of the world.

New Zealand is one of the places that we would LOVE to visit. It's a bucket list location. Incredible shots too by the way, looks fantastic, and the colors are great. What gear do you shoot with? (I'm a camera and gear junkie)

Bluff is not the southernmost tip of New Zealand, it is actually Stewart Island which is the third largest island of the country.

Bluff is not even the southernmost part of the South Island. Slope Point, which is 87km away, in the Catlins is further south than Bluff.

Tologa Bay is not Gisborne. It's a good 30 mile drive from the actual city. It would have been nice to have seen something of GISBORNE itself.

It really is spectacular. I have my camera, tripod, water and food in there. Camera and tripod wasn't able to use as it was super windy up there.

Wow that swing is way to scary for me - you guys are brave! The hot pool spa looks really calming and peaceful. I'd definitely try that.

Great mountain drive! Apple orchards are very fall-esque! Amazing color at 3:14. Famous tree, neat! It is pretty. Ooo, we like the shot with the moon and the tree silhouetted!
