Kind of a shitty performance by the masters who created this work. I’m not impressed with this recording.

The Beach Boys were a separate beast in the studio vs on stage…much like the Beatles. Then age that by 14 years. All in all, this sounds pretty good.

Saw them numerous times and met the brothers when I was a kid (around '65). My neighbor was their insurance agent and they had come over to his house to do some business. I was in the pool with a bunch of other kids and when they came out we all got to meet them. Man, it's only recently that I realize how special that time was. Looking around today, I'm feeling a deep melancholy for those days.

Dennis came to his own as a musician/writer in time. I do believe in the early 70's he started writing and recording amazing material. He broke his hand I think in 70' and was restricted to piano. He composed incredible songs

No fake backing tracks, no in ear monitors, no auto-tune. Real people playing real live music, a decade into just being an oldies act, yet still 100 times better than any of garbage live acts of today.

They were a great band at singing, but they failed at playing instruments. That's why at their concerts, starting in the 70s, they brought an additional band: another percussionist, another keyboard player, another guitarist and a bassist.

But there was plenty of autotune applied to Mike Love’s voice 20 years after the fact for the DVD remaster.

Brian Wilson's best song.. well, I should say with good vibrations, surfer girl and help me rhonda. Brian I started listening to your stuff in the early '70s. I bought your best of the beach boys and listened to it until I wore out the grooves on the record!

Thanks to Carli Muñoz for this wonderful song for Dennis and Carl to deliver with such feeling as few others could.. Given the amount of material released by The Beach Boys they needed collaborators or inspiration to produce the music created or delivered. Dennis's voice added gravitas to many songs by them even in the early days, show cased on later albums and on POB.

I love the double time Dennis does. He probably hates it but whenever I hear or see his name I think of the time he spent with Charles Manson. Two weeks? Not sure but he got the clap and to be honest he got off easy since he really dodged a bullet. The book Helter Skelter made me believe Charlie was pretty kreepy. On a good day

Dennis had his musical talents cut short and never had the real opportunity of his lifetime to develop as a solo musician. We’ll never know what he could have done very seriously with music. Returning to his underrated songs is better than listening to the current music that is out there these days.😊❤

Looks as if Dennis has a shy streak around some of the ladies; he is so mannerly and respectful! The other Judges were truly blessed to sit with him throughout this show! Never knew he was a Judge at a pageant show which he takes very seriously! He seems to have Carl’s mannerisms and social etiquette; it’s obvious they are brothers! Love seeing the white suits an the BB’s for this performance!😊❤

Dennis, in my opinion, had a fantastic voice. It almost seems that he was lazy about it and held back. His voice was deep and rich while Carl was soft and lofty (sweet) and of course, Brian was out of this world; standing out forceful, domineering, almost thoughtfully engineered. Hats off to the Wilson brothers compared to the Beetles for vocals.
