definitely improves the recognition of the surroundings. changing the car to a longer one I have a problem for a while and I get stuck everywhere with the back but after a few minutes I start to control where the car is. The most important thing is that when turning left you can always look slightly to the right where you are and then make a correction, wait with adding gas etc. I was afraid that the transitions between turns when driving in pairs would not be very precise (especially compared to the camera from the roof and neck fx) but you just need to drive a little and you will do everything by millimeters. According to many, driving in VR is a great immersion but e.g. in professional simracing it does not work because you see everything like in a real car and not from above it sitting on the roof :P I personally love it for this immersion and I definitely feel the car better than on a flat monitor, first of all I can see the depth of field which requires practice but then gives a lot of satisfaction.

@@anothersimracingchannel Thanks, your answer is really helpful. I personally prefer to ride in the driving position and not on the roof. I tried it, but it takes too much practice for me and still feels a bit weird and i prefer more immersion anyway.

@@_GG21_ if you're into immersion, you definitely need to try VR goggles. I recently bought an NLR haptic mat. We'll see if vibrations can boost immersion even more. I hope you'll stay on the channel for longer and I'll try to add some useful material in the near future ;)
