Despite his very high skill cap and somewhat short range, he makes up for it everywhere else. Akira is a beast, super fun to play, and worth learning. This is why he is my main character in the game, and in my opinion, top 2 character in the game.

Akira is my main character in Dead or Alive 5, and Kokoro is my second favorite female character in the game. In my opinion, they are outstanding top tier characters on the top of my top 20 fighters in the game. Akira is top 2, while I put Kokoro at number 15. Shout-out to Law free 08 for this awesome video. I hope to improve in this game. Keep gaming everyone.

I played RageyKun before and he never raged when I played against him however… Once I got the heat on him, slowed down and saw how he plays, I won a rank match between me and him 1 and 1 and he didn’t want another rematch, he left as soon as the menu popped up 😂

I agree, I main Lisa and he got away A LOT from people not knowing the matchup. Honestly, while Nyotengu can be difficult when she gets rolling, she’s really no match for Lisa if she’s played correctly. 1K-P is safe and interrupts any of Nyotengu’s strings and she can’t actually punish unless you’re mashing. 4H+K, 66K, 7K, 4P6PP all disrupt flight and can lead to force tech situations which Nyotengu isn’t good at handling, 1PKK (K or 2K) eat her P+K for free along with PPP string for advancing. Also, Nyotengu has no actual option except a well time 2PP and has to predict 4T, 6T, Deja Vu, and Shooting Star Press tick throws and if they predict the 2PP you eat a crouching throw (one of the strongest in the game next to yours- or crouching throw launcher that leads to high damage ending with you in hard knockdown with Lisa standing next to you or straight into a wall). Nyotengu has to respect run by reacting, has slow and readable answers to 7P potentially to run and is dealing with a character with the longest sweep in the game with a safe option afterward (especially online) or double sweep, and whose throws do as much damage as yours with better ways to set them up (albeit cheaply) that also set Lisa’s preferred range up. Also 236K needs not be forgotten it blows up flight, PPP and its variant and 2P from even close range and beats 6P strings from 2 characters space. Lisa lost a LOT of mind games with critical burst gone, and Nyotengu can pin her with her back to the wall, but this match is actually better for Nyotengu than in 5LR where Lisa’s options to take away half your health were much more plentiful. Sorry for long reply; that Lisa player needs a little guidance

I think he was going through his list of chars during this session. The 3 chars I fought in this were from the same person. Idk if it was cause he was trying to use different chars to beat me, or if he just didn't feel/want to use the same character

As a Lisa main, that match was MUCH worse for Nyotengu in 5LR. Also, Lisa was one of if not the most nerfed character between all versions.

What happened with the Honoka fight? Several opportunities to Break Hold that they would have fell for, but you never did it once. That second fight was painful.

Brother playing Helena forgot that 3KKK knocks you out of flight and eats all of you options at the range it hits at (it can trade with flight H+K if they’re late) it also guarantees a free down attack.
