I agree, I main Lisa and he got away A LOT from people not knowing the matchup. Honestly, while Nyotengu can be difficult when she gets rolling, she’s really no match for Lisa if she’s played correctly. 1K-P is safe and interrupts any of Nyotengu’s strings and she can’t actually punish unless you’re mashing. 4H+K, 66K, 7K, 4P6PP all disrupt flight and can lead to force tech situations which Nyotengu isn’t good at handling, 1PKK (K or 2K) eat her P+K for free along with PPP string for advancing. Also, Nyotengu has no actual option except a well time 2PP and has to predict 4T, 6T, Deja Vu, and Shooting Star Press tick throws and if they predict the 2PP you eat a crouching throw (one of the strongest in the game next to yours- or crouching throw launcher that leads to high damage ending with you in hard knockdown with Lisa standing next to you or straight into a wall). Nyotengu has to respect run by reacting, has slow and readable answers to 7P potentially to run and is dealing with a character with the longest sweep in the game with a safe option afterward (especially online) or double sweep, and whose throws do as much damage as yours with better ways to set them up (albeit cheaply) that also set Lisa’s preferred range up. Also 236K needs not be forgotten it blows up flight, PPP and its variant and 2P from even close range and beats 6P strings from 2 characters space. Lisa lost a LOT of mind games with critical burst gone, and Nyotengu can pin her with her back to the wall, but this match is actually better for Nyotengu than in 5LR where Lisa’s options to take away half your health were much more plentiful. Sorry for long reply; that Lisa player needs a little guidance

I think he was going through his list of chars during this session. The 3 chars I fought in this were from the same person. Idk if it was cause he was trying to use different chars to beat me, or if he just didn't feel/want to use the same character

I say do it. Alot of the big names left so easier set of mind getting the easy win try hards
