The SOG AI is what we should have for Antistasi going forward. Especially for arma 4.

@@neofulcrum5013 I never played Reforger since the friendly AI units were included - the enemy is quite smart or at least more aggressive and pushing.. I just hope they programm something like leap frog :) thanks for passing by, it was getting a bit late for me.. But yeah, coffee helps!

I was playing tonight and it dawned on me: I wasn't using the auto loot/rearm feature. Especially the "to vehicle" part. I was wasting time getting a loot crate. Lol That feature works better than ever. FYI

@protect_ HaHa. I know you haven't in your vids. Nobody does. Sure rocks when you have a bunch of dead bodies and no crate. Plus they find the ones you didn't see or can't remember. Vehicle capacity is good.

Also I found a tip where if you tell the ai to find cover and then you tell them to move they won’t maybe that helps?

Still getting used to it and try to adapt it to my (antistasi) playstyle but i get more and more into it.. Plus i think its more enjoyable to watch for the community with the more booms, faster moving and the lovely handsigns. Much respect for your awesome work - leap frog ftw! Yeah it is based on Afghanistan and i have used G3 as well, so watching using g3 is good, and you might have unlocked scopes recheck it

A thing you could try next session is log in, immediately disable SOG, then play as normal. See if just the vanilla AI gives you issues.

@@bklough I can tell from here that vanilla AI gives me issues ;) All in all it was okay i guess - just need to find out which vanilla orders really messes with SOG.. But as i saod, just their behaviour in combat is worth the struggle :) Thanks for beeing there!

Man, tuned in just as you signed off. Lol I'll catch up. On the SOG AI front: you only benefit from it while you're commanding your squad and they're on foot. That's what it's designed for.

TOW - Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guide missile. Means you have to put a sight reticle on a target, fire, then keep the crosshairs on target. I was a TOW gunner in the US Army way back in the day. 😊

@@bklough Thanks.. Not sure if i can fire it like this as a Pilot and Arma wont let the AI fly (i saw a red thingy on my radar which moved with moving the nose of the heli before shooting somehow...) But now i know more. I think at the last KRG outpost i found a Humvee with a TOW launcher, that would be fun. I had this Jeep with it on Tanoa and shot a heli nearly trough the rails and missed it soooo close. I think this is one of the famous things i wish i knew before. Cool to have an expert here

I voted East because no streamer has showed (well) how their actions affect the enemy faction commanders' decisions. We started West. Did shifting East cause them to adjust?

@@bklough You mean like they change their attacking interests and go for other positions? If so, couldnt tell a difference, there was only random contact at one of the resources in the east we took

@protect_ Yes, but in general. The AI commanders have to manage hr, money, and equipment like us. Did your successful actions force a logistics move? Change their priorities? If you take more from them in that area will their QRF get bigger? If so, and you go back West or north will they be weaker? Sun Tzu, "know your enemy". :) Not trying to direct your session. Just posting thoughts. (You know what Matt's gonna do with my vote lol)

@@bklough Youre right, i mostly forget about the enemy commander when i am in the heat of streaming. But it could be a bit broken somehow, because when i interrogate enemies they say for example:"KRG has no defence resources left" or so, even if the game just began... But maybe thats part of the mechanics and they need to refill the funds with convoys or so. But i have to keep an eye on that. Interesting!
