I prefer the Swedish and American folds where the pattern is on the outside and the sleeves can be quickly pulled down to the wrists.

While I would totally agree wearing MTP PCS with creases in the jacket & trousers looks much smarter, and the RM & RMC certainly do, this is totally contrary to the MOD PAM (spec) for the uniform which clearly states that "to be ironed flat with no creases made". The Army don't do creases ! 😀

Much respect for my RM cousins, Have said it before, USMC needs to completly revamp boot camp and OCS to RM TTP. What I cannot stand id how after extensive training on how to properly fit, shape and wear a beret, come Marines and paras can turn it into a golf cap, floppy chef hat ot mushroom and Officers wont correct it. Thay (Marines and paras) are hard as nails and could easly be actual SOF, but damn, wear you cover properly

Oh lovely. Well done sir. Good effort. Lovely. Very much enjoyed. Could say ‘I couldn’t have done better myself’ but I probably could give you a run for your ‘quids’ (I’ve been to Britain!). It’s a lost skill, but know that British servicemen know how to push an iron. Love and best wishes from An ironing fan and professional from Texas. 💗

@@1.forestrunner It would be fortunate then that 99% of gear a soldier would use in the field doesnt need to be shaven, dampened, and shaped to the individual before use then.

@@JoshuaBurt3D They actually do wear it in the field. It does not protect you against rain, nor sun, does not break up the silhouette etc. Just check out the introduction of the new British service rifle. The soldiers wear during shooting exercise...yes a beret.
