He played this show after finding out Courtney cheated on him with Billy corgan on Valentine’s Day. He cried so hard and felt so much anger and this was the perfect song to express it.
This is why I love Punk Rock. I used to think it was screaming Nd alot of noise for no reason. But it's actually, passion and the emotion behind the song. Iv wrote a few songs myself.

Does anyone know if the original multitrack tapes exist? Im just thinking that if they do and this could be remixed in a more professional manner, that would be great.

First song reminds me of the stooges kinda Lots of punk mixed with soul. Just a lot more melodic and organized which is where his pop influence melded with the heavy darkness of Seattle to create grunge

That first track sounds like a cover of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song albeit with Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on vocals.

That he is humming the ''bowed'' bass sound of Dumb is an indicator that he was privy to some fully fledged conceptions even at this stage. Serendipity played little part, apparently.

To all of you Nostalgia/Hype victims: If it had been just some random kid handing out tapes at the gas station, 99% of you would pop it in your player, listen to two minutes of it, laugh, and throw it in the garbage.
