omgs aside, this my favorite - not that the others aren't stellar... but this is a very very special blend even if it is 3.25 years down the road. and i love love love houseshows. .... You know, I hate it when performers whip out their smart phones and iPads to google lyrics and chords. Don't they respect their audiences enough to learn the songs?! So, I was slightly chagrined to see Aoife looking this one up. And then, this made me think--had these two ever done this song together before? My guess is No. Never. They were completely winging it. Could I love these two any more? Could I love anyone any more? Ever?

mandolin and guitar basically require the same picking technique, they transfer reallyy well with each other so technically chris thile should also be a monster on guitar

they have to have their guards down and hearts open to do such music created from space. as to whether they are or have been, no idea. But i know the few women I can do these duets with I love utterly. any and all.

I had not even listened to this yet when I saw this vid on the side of the screen. As soon as I saw the title "Chris Thile and Aoife O Donovan" I instantly had chills down my spine.
