Hated these episodes where Cary was the bad guy....he made a much better friend than foe and I really wish he could've appeared on THE GOOD FIGHT.

@catrionam2619 Now as of Jan 2025 she's about to go up against this corrupt murdering judge played by Michael Emerson... (The jury duty episode is the best one to date)...but still.... she, with the help of her cop friends, have to nail this judge and she wont probably be doing it in court. MY FAVE scenes in TGW and TGF are scenes where the protagonists win over the efforts of difficult judges and Elsbeth was the CHAMP.

Great scene. But as I wondered at the time... if the video testimony is inadmissable because the witness is still alive, why did the prosecution not just extradite him from the Caymans and subpoena him to testify?

They didnt believe it would hold up in a cross examination. Or why bother with a fake death. There might have been other collaborators whose names becoming public would jeopordaize the whole ploitical gambit they were playing to begin with.

I never understood why there was Peter/Alicia team? I think Peter was one of the most selfish and manipulative men ever shown in TV serial history and I never understood why in the 3rd season we haven't got proper Will-Alicia moments like this...we had just glimpses of their relationship and then it ended, I get why it ended and the fact that it couldn't last... But why they gave them so little space on-screen? I still think after more than ten years that this is one of the best scenes in TV series.

Totally agree with everything you said. Peter was a jerk, and Will was her knight, but she just could NOT shake her cautious, conservative nature and because of that missed out on what could have been a great love. They spent WAY too much time on her and the jerk.🤨
