Mental Health staffing is a big issue. My VAMC therapist can only provide short term care even though I need longer term care. I also need specialist care that is not available at my local VAMC.

I was denied coverage from the VA to the Mayo Clinic because there is “no contract in place with the Mayo Clinic.” Good thing I have private insurance through my employer. The VA offered me 8 hours of therapy compared to the 105-hour program I went through with Mayo that COMPLETELY turned my life around. We deserve better from the VA! Thank you, Senator Moran, for fighting for us! ❤

I really like this Whitley Yates. She is very articulate and she really has a good grasp on her beliefs. I could listen to her and watch debates with her for hours because she is so unique and such a breath of fresh air. I am a white woman but she says everything that I feel and she is so intellegent and classy in her presentation. Seems like she should be a vice president. Anyways just had to comment. It is so important to understand that local, state and federal politics are all connected. Hold these politicians accountable who were elected to represent your interests. If you want to see change, vote for those who will work for you and give them so help. Donate money, time and a team so that they can work together. One person alone does not have the power, even the President. Although executive orders are quick, they can be revoked, modified or superseded.
