Brilliant piece. Back in 1999 at Uni, I answered a question for my essay... What is wrong with English cricket? Did my research, and my conclusion was an Australian type state system built around the 6 Test grounds... Similar to The Hundred franchise. The counties would still exist, but as a feeder to the franchises above them.

Two of possibly the greatest fast bowling duos ever! Great to hear all these inside stories. Greetings from India.

Warne for me was the absolute best cricketer ever. I love England, but ability, personality, commentator, energy, mental approach. So, so brilliant. I loved him, and he died 2 days after my dad

I am a great fan of him and want to see his action against current Indian cricketers. The sad part is what happened to the West Indies the country which produced greats like Clive loyed, viv Richards Kalicharan ……

Loved Warne he will always remain the best spinner coz he played in Sena countries more and he took most wickets by using his mind more than the ball.

Telegram or Discord. Your choice. I only have select series between 2020 and 2023 depending on if I had a reliable source in my location. Currently don't record anymore and most of 2023 still needs to be sorted.

great piece here - there were two elements to this:- 1) New Zealand were way, way better than first thought. 2) the South Africa series win in 1998 was built on the bowling of Cork, Gough and Fraser - none of whom played in the summer of 1999. That England tail at the Oval was eye-watering. Scary.
