Do not under any circumstances go to oldham college for electrics t level, they will con you with what they offer, my son is currently studying this course, when he applied for electrics he was told, by the college that this is the way to go, they will find placements that will almost guarantee an apprenticeship, now one year on, the class has been told, they must find they're own placement and the college refuses to pay the insurance to the company, as they stated they would. This is not a one off either, while at college, he has spoke to the years above him and they have had the same experience, many have failed (about 5, at most, each year pass out of 30+ students) or are about to fail, they have wasted 2 years of their life when they could have been doing a level 2, with a guaranteed qualification, a complaint will be placed against the college in due time. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE!

I have passed the exam of 428: Electrical Principles for Mechanical Engineering and have to take two more written exams: 429(Principles of Mechanical Engineering) and 401(Engineering Mathematics).
