James Labrie should retire with dignity. He can't sing anymore... My brother, accept destiny and find a new talent for your band.

For the past few years, I've been revisiting things I enjoyed in previous years. But this year, everything I'm revisiting happens to be from 2020, coincidentally. I was a dragonforce fan in the latter half of that year. I think I saw them write this on twitch in the first Herman stream I ever watched. At that time it was called "Tommy Tank." I never imagined they'd ever play it live.
@Insanniee15 күн бұрын
It was such a great time for Dragonforce, and that Herman stream was epic!

I know many better singers: Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Adele, Celine Dion, Geoff Tate, Jack Russell, Burning Spear, Peter Tosh, Michael Jackson, Julio Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Placido Domingo, anon anon. Think about how many paid to hear that singer with their devil horns waving in the air? I will never understand this inclination towards death metal/thrash metal singing. It sounds ghastly and dismal does it not?

I consider myself a true longtime fan having been at too many dream theater concerts around the world since '90s. I am also a metal guitarist and a Petrucci fan. I don't like him anymore: the guitar design and small size it's really ugly (former one was just perfect), his looks and style are questionable and he is still trying hard to play fast even if he is not really accurate and clean like he used to be some years ago (before deciding to get bigger). Great old times
@carpediem4413Ай бұрын
Something fishy about the guitar playing… how does he go into octave above then back to standard without touching anything (or stepping on anything)? Muse is running too many backing tracks IMO.
@thomaslanfranchi3552Ай бұрын
Computer, every band does it and it’s for ease of the player. They’re all playing to a click track which they’re all keeping in time due to their in ears. Like Unsustainable, when they’d do it live he would play everything, however the effects of octave changes were all pre programmed and he’s just playing in time to when they happen.
