I saw my first shadowman when I was around 7 years old. He was so dark, I can now describe it as the darkness I imagine a black hole to be. Blacker than any silhouette. His outline sported like a 40s style man's hat. Like a business man. Long coat. I wasn't frightened at all. He kinda floated over to me and leaned over me as if to make sure I was breathing. Like a protector. Raised up, floated backward into the wall. I always wanted to see him again but I guess he'll come when it's time to rescue me.
