I heard Rubin got out and murdered his girlfriend. True ? I dunno. Any takers ? This song ALWAYS breaks my heart. So sad if he's innocent. This could happen to ANYONE in America. The tree of liberty needs to be watered once again with the blood of patriots. (Thomas Jefferson)

Rubin was framed for sure... now President Trump is a target, ironically by black prosecutors and DA's like Wade, Fani, Letitia, and Bragg. All low IQ, affirmative action, crooked, Soros funded incompetents, who themselves belong in jail. Rubin Carter and Donald Trump both railroaded by racist prosecutors..

@@Jester343the world today by percentage is better than we ever known it to be in recorded history, way less crime way less poverty and way more life luxuries, the percentage of worldwide poverty today doesn't come close to the percentage of 80 years ago, the people who died ww2 alone are 10 times more than the people who died in every war since combined, the only thing that got worse is the lost of souls and lack of purpose and mental toughness.

@@nadermilite5652 I do agree that today is the best time to be alive in all of humanity's existence, but that doesn't mean that we can't or shouldn't continue to get better as a society. I don't think people recognizing injustices, no matter how small they seem to you, necessarily makes somebody weak-minded. However, I do Believe that facing a small amount of racial prejudice is nowhere near the same thing as when people would be hosed down in the street or banned from an establishment for their skin color.

I use this song as inspiration to stop injustice when I see it. The authorities took the version of this song I posted to off KZbin in an attempt to stop my exposing the truth of how the justice system is violating peoples rights in order to gain a conviction violating the rights we are entitled to. 8:33

You're right, only it's reversed now. Black DA's prosecuting President Trump... making fools of themselves, and will end up in jail for malicious targeted prosecution, and for stealing taxpayer money (Fani and Wade of GA.). Letitia will end up disgraced, and sued into oblivion, hopefully prison too... and the state of New York, which all of America hates, is liable too. Affirmative Action hurts everyone, always has.

I always thought the lyrics were: Lies we put behind Sitting on my nose Flowers on the wall Keep growing high Realizing no time No time left at all A falling leaf am I A falling leaf am I Left it in on the pond Showing no life at all Busy were they beneath the ground And looking to the sky Grim reaper, oh Hoping grass was tall Wind please help me A falling leaf am I Laying here in pieces Today’s work has all been done Guess I’ve got what man receives On bleeding reality But wait- While I leave the pond Falling everywhere Are we not all falling leaves Are we not all falling leaves He also sounds like the lead singer of The Animals…??

In working through the Peer Counseling Program of the Minneapolis Police Department, I lost a Minneapolis police officer, Jerry Millman, who “ate his gun”. He had attempted suicide before and blew off about a third of his face. He looked ugly, but at least he survived his attempted self-annihilation. He said that he was in a miserable relationship and was unable to get out of it. I did everything I could to help Jerry - including singing to him this song about the “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” by Paul Simon (kzbin.info/www/bejne/goXdmIZna8mFZ9E). But he said that the next time he attempted suicide, he’d do it right. And he did… In my collection of art created by some of my former patients and clients - from the VA Hospitals in Minneapolis, MN, and in Palo Alto, CA; Rational Life Center; and elsewhere, I have an artwork created by Jerry. It’s scary! The anguish, pain and misery are almost palpable…. Perhaps these days there are medications available to help people who feel stuck like Jerry... Sorry I didn't help more! R.I.P. Jerry... ~ Herdie ~

Radiohead hate this song because of how many fans only know them due to this song. That's understandable but this version of this song is ridiculously good, even if you think it's commercial or you think 'They have done 50 or 100 songs better than this' which is true... Thom still sings his bollocks off on this and that alone deserves credit. Wanna know what the best RH song is in my opinion? Its likely to change like the wind but at the moment it's: Knives Out.
