Thank you for this video. I thought your diagnosis fit the problem I have with a Niagara Conservation Stealth toilet, so I followed them, using the exact same replacement valve seal that you used. Like you, I found it very difficult to remove the part which held the old fill valve seal the first time I tried to remove it. Unlike you, after I replaced the old fill valve seal with a new one, the toilet still made the hissing sound. I thought I might not have fastened the new seal properly, so I took it off and put it back on again. Even so, the toilet still makes the hissing sound. Do you have a suggestion as to what I do next? What might happen if the problem, whatever it is, isn't fixed?

Funny from Elk COunty PA have a spectre which u have a video on and had an xterrra with it as well dont anymore but your spectre vid so far has pointed me in the right direction i do all my own work but always using videos to see the details and make sure i am unbolting what i should be and no extra or under amounts of work! Toilet filled fine but am getting the air escaping sound. I replaced the seal and am still hearing air. Toilet is only 2 years old, what else could it be? Thanks.

Are you able to use blue toilet bowl tablets and bleach tablets? I don’t thinks it goes into the tank like traditional toilets because the water does Not change. So where do the tablets go exactly?

Thank you so much sir!!! 👍🏻 I had the same problem, and every morning when I turned on my kia spectra 2009 it started screaming like crazy for like 30 seconds and when stepping on the gas it got even louder for like 5 seconds and then it went away. Making u turns was horrible and even making sharp turns. I had replaced the pump the belts and even the power steering fluid and on top of that I replaced the container for it because it had a leak and none was working. Came across your video, adjusted the belts more and wow I am so happy.

Do you have a part number for the alternator belt? I’m having trouble finding a clear diagram.

I think i need for my toilet from over flowing.. it's not an hissing noise, it just continues to fill pass the damn margin...i tried turning that screw that right from the same thing you reassembled...

You saved me so much time and energy in diagnosing the problem, I was about to replace the toilet bowl. I am going through some trial and error and I have a glacier bay model that has the niagra stealth setup that advertises it is capable of flushing 12 billiard balls and believe me it will, but yesterday it suddenly lost flushing power completely and I know that it isn’t clogged at all because I have dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water in the bowl and it drained immediately and when it happened I instantly noticed that the jet power that is usually present when flushed wasn’t there at all and water was slowly draining out but no typical flushing spiral 🌀 like you would normally get. So I’m just wondering what is causing this to happen

I have question. You're saying the power steering isn't working right and you point out that the power steering gear is seizing up, yet you go to tighten the alternator belt first...why? This is not me challenging you, I just am I having a similar problem and I am thinking I'm missing something important. Thanks!

This man is a legend. My toilet would flush once, then not fill back up, then the next flush was weak. This fixed it. Now it flushes and fills back up...like a toilet should!

Looks great. Yeah i went through a bunch of cleaners before a tried super clean. It worked really well. Just don't let it sit too long on the paint finish or it can start to remove it. But a soft rag and a quick wipe did the trick.
