I think the date is wrong as you can hear Meatloaf's "Dead Ringer For Love" playing at 19:16 and that song didn't top the charts until early 1982

INXS Michael Hutchins must be nearly 20 years dead now. Wnen i was about 15 years old i could cycle from Derry to The Star of the Sea Church in Desertegney in 58 minutes.....along this road

Hey maggie it would be great to see a pic of you all your dad n brothers too as my mum remembers your dad well I can remember him as a wee girl !! As stephen says we havent been over to Ireland since granda passed away but I would love to go over as we planned to do it for my dads 20th anniversary but covid happened so we couldn't do it 😞 but I would love to go over again as I have so many great memories at it felt like home sure I was wanting g to stay that had a job sorted out but my dad wouldnt let me as I was only young like 15 or 16 so I understand why he didnt plus he said my mum would kill him if I didnt go home with him 🤣🤣 I miss everything about Ireland the smell of peat n turf burning !! So where do you live now & how is your dad doing??? Xxx

Hi maggie mcclure 😘 we must be related as this is our great gran too so are you uncle dan or uncle Jim's or maybe aunt maggie daughter ??? We were all trying to work it out 😂😂 but it's so nice to see our wee aggie as I cant remember her but I have heard loads of stories about her though ❤ my granda was wullie Mclaughlin n my dad was phil also my brother commented on this aswell stephen, it would be lovely to hear from you & I hope your well , another one to our big clan Xxx

Hello Claire isn't this lovely that we are in touch. I just replied to Stephen yes I am aunt Maggies granddaughter she brought us up and we were probably all in burnfoot together at some stage. Your daddy had a great sense of humour a very dry sense of humour, same as his dad and my granny also, which I loved. I must send this to my brothers, one in Glasgow and one in Australia ❤

Is your brother Phil as I can remember being in holiday at grands wullie's with Phil & his son ? ? I will have a week look at the 3rd film seeing great gran !! I can remember hughie at dads funeral dad ended up with w funerals together in glasgow then we took his ashes to Ireland which he had a wee service in chapel then put his ashes in with his mum x it's been lovely speaking to you maggie & hope to speak to you more 😁 I hope your all well & healthy sending lots of love from Glasgow to you & all the family Xxx

The west, midlands and south of Ireland need to connected by railway again if they reopen the Western Rail Corridor, Foynes, Mitchelstown, Athlone-Mullingar, Navan-Drogheda railway line it would be nice if Derry by train was connected to the western area of Ireland to cut down on traffic jams, pollution, car accidents and road deaths of course.
