I have two of these installed in my Everest. I found few bass notes missing do you think changing subwoofer with little bigger magnet will help that. Example JVC Drvn 350 rms 1800 watt peak with 65oz magnet ? Please advise

Good point! We’ve also seen boxes that use thicker boards. What thickness do you think works best for a box this size? Pioneer’s design uses reinforced MDF and polyfill to balance durability, weight, and performance. What’s your take?

I guess you have never seen a quality built speaker. Obviously, why you didn't do a comparison. If that speaker was produced 50 years ago, It would not have been a top quality speaker. So to compare it with a JL Audio, would be like , comparing a Ferrari with a Toyota, pioneer being the Toyota. Kicker mid-range subs blow this junk away.

Use a cordless drill for those locking screw assemblies. much quicker that by hand.

Why does the instructions tell me drill pilot holes and give me screws not required for assembly. good thing I didn’t but just perplexed about being told to drill holes for pre builds. Someone’s going to and ruin their desk.

You never finished your tear down of the woofer I would have liked to see the coil to see the build quality and the pole piece of the magnet structure. Also how much glue they used on all the components to hold them together. You could have just shined a flashlight through the hole of the basket and would have shown the same thing you were showing without destroying that woofer. A true teardown involves cutting through the spider and exposing the coil to actually see build quality.

The guy pushes the TV up towards ceiling - TV moves down. The guy pushes TV the TV goes to flat up position. BUT HOW HARD DO I PUSH? FROM THE CENTER? MIDDLE?
