Archie is him! I was worried when he started the tournament so poorly, but he slowly turned it on at the end of round one and then absolutely exploded onto the scene here. Great day all around for my Thumpers as Archie homers three times and Horne chipped in that three run double to put it out of reach early. Great stuff from Hardapple as well, we took all the pressure off of him with the big lead and he was able to pitch much better than his first start. Hopefully he'll be even better if he gets a third start in this tourney! Tough to see Smile struggle like that, but it just goes to show that no pitcher is ever truly safe when the competition is this high! Great content as always buddy, and nice job on working in some of my sayings while commentating! Loved it! #TheNastyOne

This was a big game for Archie and the Thumpers! With the Prowl coming off of a sweep, it looked like they would be a tough challenge for the Thumpers, but that time off seemed to backfire for them. Rose Smile was abysmal today and it was really tough to watch. You're right though, with competition so high, even the best can struggle (just look at Kaleb "Tense" Thompson!). It has to feel good getting a win in game one at the Swagger Center. Next time out you'll have Callahan on the mound and it's looking good for a 2-0 lead heading back to the Bingata Bowl! The Prowl have to make adjustments and FAST if they want to stay in this tournament! Thanks for watching and engaging as always! I'm glad you noticed some of those subtle phrases of yours lol.

Tough loss here in the opener as Kirk and Bracketeer both pitcher their hearts out today and kept both of the offenses at bay for the most part. Great homers from Colon and Centercut as they did their best to get the win but unfortunately Cantu had some clutch small ball hits to drive in the runs and Pennington did his job as the perfect table setter getting on base all four times he was at the plate. Great pitching from Rollins and Shaffer as well, we honestly didn't deserve to lose this game but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Let's look to bounce back next time! Great content as always! #TheNastyOne

@@PRAKNASTY Man, this was a heartbreaker! What makes it even more frustrating is we could have won without going to extras! If Dalton doesn't try to steal in the 1st, it's a 2 run homer from Centercut and we win the game 2-1 in regulation. No one did anything bad today, it was just a tough luck loss for us and the Sewer Sneaks battled their hearts out to win it. Let's hope this is not a sign of things to come... Thanks for watching and following along with the series!

What a game! Warden Wang was cruising in this one as it looked like a repeat of Game 1 with that 1 - 0 lead until the Lockhorns finally solved him. They figured him out and the Justice bullpen and offense had no response to that as they watched the tournament slip away from them pitch by pitch as Turncoat sold the game away after Wang was subbed off. Tough scenes there for the Justice as it appeared they had the upset in the bag, but the Lockhorns offense didn't quit as Blaine Collins picked the perfect time to have his first hit of the tournament and Hazard picked it up behind him to start that 4 run rally to seal it in the sixth. Also great pitching from Saunders to get out of trouble time and time again before handing it off to McConnell who saved his best stuff for the right time! Onto the semifinals we go as I'm hoping my Thumpers can take the Prowl down just like we did in the first tournament but I know that they'll be some tough customers. Between the Joyriders and Lockhorns I have to give the edge to the Lockhorns because of experience, but I expect a fight from the Joyriders as there's no free rides in this tournament. Can't wait for the highlight video as we recap the first round of the tournament! Great content as always buddy, loving it! #TheNastyOne

I think this may be considered the best game in the history of the tournament so far and there have been some good ones! The dominance from Wang, followed by the incredibly timely hits in the 6th off of him was so fun to watch from an outside perspective! Saunders was so good at getting out of the jams he put himself into and those two starters were so fun to watch face off against each other in both games! This tournament has proven to be as good as advertised so far and next time out we will see the Thumpers head to the Swagger Center to see if they can take down the Prowl again! It'll be fun to see who comes out on top in these two matchups! Unfortunately, I won't have a highlight video like I promised....I just didn't have the time or the mental capacity to get it done. I will definitely go over the first round stats before the next game though. Sorry for the let down..I had more ambition and not enough ability lol. Thanks for watching and commenting! Good offseason for the Outlaws as we go all in to try and continue the dominance this team has had over the past two seasons. I like the moves to go get Buck over Mays as we get younger there and also on the decisions to upgrade the bullpen over regressing Maddox, the inconsistent Launcheros and the underequipped Machoman. I also understand the decision to get McKinney over Welch for that extra defensive boost and same for Ferguson as he offers great infield flexibility. I also love the Hensley move as he gives you a bonfire DH and spot starter at 1B for when Colon struggles. I wish we could've kept Branch over Snyder as she had such great potential to develop further and had that Cannon Arm at third but the chemistry wasn't adding up especially after getting a great upgrade in Kirk for the rotation. Let's see if this bold strategy helps us succeed in season 3! Go Outlaws! Great content as always buddy and congrats on 60 subs! 🎉 #TheNastyOne

Thanks for watching! I'm excited about this team for sure! I really would have loved to keep Welch and Branch, but that's what makes the Chem Lock so challenging and fun! I'm really hoping I made the right call with Buck over Mays. Mays was so great offensively, but we saw too many runners take advantage of his weak arm. With our offense being so deep, I figured it was worth pivoting to a defensive focus behind the plate with some offensive upside. Only time will tell! I felt that our weakest part of the team has always been our pitching staff and I think we did enough to improve there. Let's just hope the offense can stay consistent throughout the season! Any new players you're most excited about? For me, it's Elder Santos! I'm really hoping he becomes our ace in the hole whenever we need one. Can't wait for the new season with EVERYTHING on the line! I'm surprised at how poorly the team did despite some of the talent that is here. I guess there really isn't a true bonfire star as we misses out on players like Jackie Slam in the draft. The offense was abysmal and 24 errors at SS will kill any team no matter who you are. Pitching was solid which is where most of the team's talent was centered so glad they lived up to expectations somewhat. Wild the Sawteeth won both championships, looking like my old dynasty with them! I think a good idea would be doing an entirely random draft where a wheel determines either the player choice (1-8) each round, or the position. Great content as always buddy! #TheNastyOne

What a game that was, I was on the edge of my seat and stressing over every single pitch as we progressed deeper into the game! I really thought the game was over when Bruce gave up the back to back jacks to Huang and Undermyer there in the third but the boys and girls in this organization proved me wrong. Kaleb rocked that RBI triple in the 4th and then Lizzie capitalized on the AI's choice to leave Levy in and unloaded that go ahead homer to seal it in the 5th. I was hoping Bruce would come out in the 6th but knowing him he just looked at the manager with that really deadpan look and dared him to try and take the ball from him. Great series for your Buzzwings Scootsie, that put up one hell of a fight and they were the one team I didn't want to see too early because I knew it would be a tough series to win. The hype for it didn't disappoint and we hope to carry this momentum forward as we take on Jho's Prowl at their place in the next round! This was a really great series as we went back and forth every game! As I said at the very beginning of this video, it was the Thumpers game to lose, and we almost had you! Another unfortunate base running mistake by Stone early in the game when he was on 3B with no outs and then got into a rundown prevented us from getting a run across early that eventually led to our downfall! I thought the back to back shots could spark the offense, but Bruce recovered nicely and the battle between Levy and Wishwashe goes to your guy once again! Good luck the rest of the way! What a tough way for the season to end as the team fell flat on its face in the winner take all game 3. The game started great with Babchishin and Scirelli manufacturing a run, but then Dalton got that urge to try and steal and he paid the price getting hosed. It didn't help then that Nola East got in a groove and retired the next sixteen batters in a row while Zimmermann got lit up early by the Dive Bombers offense as Gallagher and Arellano went yard and then Bass went yard later on reliever Dane Rollins to put them up 4 - 1. At that point we needed a miracle to get back in it and even though Alex Hernandez homered in the 6th to snap the consecutive batters streak it was far too late as Parker slammed the door for the save in the 4 - 2 victory. Hate to see the team collapse like this as the offensive magic that guided the team to this point just dried up and the pitching staff, namely the starters, couldn't shoulder the load. Funny to see the Dive Bombers win as normally this franchise is extremely hapless and does nothing when I'm in control of it lol, still congrats to them for being the better team this time around. Solid start to the offseason as we see no retirements and a majority of the team coming back for another ride with a few question marks on players like Launcheros, Dubbs, Lopside, Mays, and Maddox but we do see the release of Bale, Mashington, Machoman, and OG Glass Snyder as the 38 year old will look for greener pastures elsewhere unless no other suitable replacements can be found. Looks like its Branch's time to shine over there at third! Excited to see what prospects you find for the coming season and what the team will look like heading into Year 3! Regarding the off-season, I'm glad we were able to get most of the team back and paying them equal to or less than their worth. The guys we let go were all pretty much just playoff rentals, but the big move was letting go of Snyder. I really wish he had retired, but with his regression and the performance of Branch behind him, it didn't make sense to keep him on this roster. I wish him luck in the future! Let's hope we can find some solid players to put together another successful season! BTW, I've been meaning to mention to you the approach that I took at the end of the season here. By going through the re-sign phase during the video, I was able to scout out players off screen so that I could make the off-season video more efficient. Rough loss for the Justice as they were struggling so bad early on that Scootsie's controller killed itself from boredom 😆. They finally wake up in the final inning with Hardin's bomb to bring them within one run but unfortunately they choked after getting Davidson out of the game. Now they've got their backs against the wall and need a big performance in Game 4 is stay alive and force a deciding game 5. Davidson pitched well up until the 6th, but he stayed out there way too long and ended up injuring his pitching elbow. I've gotten a report from the Lockhorns' training staff that it is only a partial UCL tear and he'll be able to pitch a lighter workload in his next start. Here's hoping next time he listens to his body and pulls himself before something like that happens again. You have to feel really frustrated if you're the manager of the Justice. Their team just can't get used to the feel of this tournament. Even with a win in 3 games, they have not been able to get consistent offense and their pitching outside of Warden Wang has been shaky as well. It was great to see the 6th inning rally to show some life, but they couldn't push anything else across before time ran out. The Lockhorns look like veterans out there and the 1st inning was interesting to see them pounce on the starter causing them to rely on their bullpen more than they'd like. MacHussle still managed to go deeper into this game than I thought, but the Lockhorns got just enough to get their second win with a chance to clinch next time out! Glad to hear the injury to Davison wasn't worse as it seemed like you could hear a collective gasp from everyone in the stadium when he threw that pitch in the dirt and immediately grabbed his arm. We will definitely be watching this situation IF the Lockhorns get to his next start. Thanks for watching and commenting as always, I'm glad you're enjoying the tournament!

Shah was definitely the right choice today as he was able to avoid the HR ball and mitigated the damage in his inevitable "one bad inning". He is such a promising young pitcher that I hope continues to develop! The offense was amazing today as pretty much everyone contributed to the win including the aging, and very cold Glass Snyder. I'm really happy to see what Branch has been able to do at 3B defensively, and the bat really seems to be coming along as well! Obviously, the Grand Slam from out ROTY-MVP was the big highlight as he just continues his torrid pace to start his career! It has been so fun to watch him and I hope we never see it end! Their bullpen is gassed, so we have them in the perfect place to finish them off and avoid having to face the Cy Young winner - Ellie Acosta. Let's not go to game 3, shall we? Great game for the Outlaws as we take the Reapers to task and earn the sweep with a 10 - 2 shellacking. Big day for Fernanda Branch as she homers twice and paces the offense supported by Mays, Le, and Babchishin. Great pitching also from Mashington as he did enough to keep the Reapers at bay long enough for Rollins to come in and slam the door shut. Outlaws look as though their hot streak has carried over once again and are a team nobody wants to see in the postseason. Lucky break for us as the Dirt Dogs upset the Maulers and hand us home field advantage in the semis. What a game from Charlie "Cash" Callahan! He was dealing like Cash Money out there and had the Buzzwings offense begging for mercy as he effortlessly tossed a shutout. I knew redrafting him was the right choice to make! Solid offensive day for the Thumpers as Thompson broke out of his slump, Drake made a case to be the everyday shortstop and Dastardly continued to do Dastardly things. Shame Archie still hasn't figured out how to hit, but I think it's just the Buzzwings in general he can't hit, I'm sure he'll be fine if we make it to the next round. Rough day for the offense as Undermyer was a non-factor and they couldn't solve Cash. Here's hoping we get the job done in game 4, but knowing your team it ain't gonna be easy. Good day to be a Thumper fan! You came into our house and took us to task! Callahan was phenomenal and that might end up being one of the best performances of the entire tournament! We managed to get a few hits, had a rally going at one point, and Undermyer almost hit one out to right field, but in the end, Cash did everything he needed to do to get the win. Dastardly looked great and Thompson showed up despite being tense all game long. Aubrey Miles pitch decent for us, but unfortunately our bullpen couldn't do their jobs and all of that ended up costing us a win at home where we had a chance to be in position to clinch at home. Now we have to win the next one to push us to game 5 at the Bowl. You're in a great position, but you know we won't go down without a fight! Thanks for watching and commenting! Good luck next game!

Man what a rough day if you're an Underworld fan. They appear to have inherited the Overdogs' luck from the first tournament. I've never seen the game go to a starter that early in a game before, probably has to do with McGribbons high overall rating. The Joyriders jumped on the Underworld starter early and exploited that Volatile trait to maximum effect as they were spearheaded by a two homer day from Everdale. Can the Underworld put up a fight in game three to save their tournament lives, or will they fall apart and give the Joyriders an easy ride into the semifinals in their first tournament? What an embarrassing performance by my Underworld… This could be the first time in history that a manager gets fired mid playoff series. Just so many questionable decisions made. Going for the steal in the top of the 5th resulting in out number 3 was the icing on the cake… But seriously… How do you bring in an SP in relief in the 2nd inning?! I know it’s early and I don’t fault him for pulling the Russo, but… USE THE BULLPEN!!! The game could’ve been a lot closer if the long balls stayed fair, but that ultimately wouldn’t have mattered. The bats have been so ugly thus far this tourney. Can at least appreciate a little bit of fight in the top of the 9th but too little too late. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come and we can pull off the daunting task of pulling a reverse sweep.

Just for some added context. I drafted Lennox McGribbons fully expecting him to be my ace for the tournament… Can’t believe his possibly only appearance will be in a highly questionable long relief outing… Also if you check out the slated starter for game 4, the skipper has Luke Santiago slated to get the start… who is the Underworlds worst rated RP… This manager is 100% getting his ass fired…

A few HRs that just missed the foul pole and this is a very different game. The biggest question is why in the world did McGribbons get the call from the pen? So many options and they go with the starter. Let's hope it doesn't play a major factor in the rest of the series... The Underworld offense has definitely struggled. Rough outing for Shah as he gave up four in the first, but great work by McMahon and Lopside to slam the doors shut after Shah and Launcheros left it open. Especially regarding the starters. Most of the time, even my BEST starters have .500 records or lose more than wins and some relief pitchers tend to have the majority of the win. Man this tourney opens up with such a bang!!! 500 foot dinger in the first inning of the opening game is absolutely storybook! Offense was fast and furious to open the game and things settled down pretty quick in the second half. So excited to see how things unfold!

It was a fun way to get the tournament started as these teams already have quite the history together! I'm glad you enjoyed the start of the tournament! I hope that the rest of the tournament is just as exciting!

Beat the Drum It's A Victory for the Thumpers over the evil empire, the Buzzwings! 😂 All jokes aside it wasn't a good day for either starter in this one thankfully the bottom of the lineup was able to bail us out against Levy and Thicket. Great to see Myers catching on with your team hope he does more for you than he did for me. Funny both my returners did nothing but make my life harder today. Can't wait to see how the rest of this tournament shakes out. Hopefully the second game is as entertaining as this one was Jake, you're a worthy opponent as always. #TheNastyOne

@@PRAKNASTY thanks for watching! I'm glad we matched up in the first round! Tough loss for us, but congrats on your team getting the first win of the tournament! Good luck the rest of the way, you know we won't let you past us without a knock-down, drag-out fight from start to finish! Can't wait to see what is in store for this tournament!
