This is a test that was designed by psychologists and sport scientists. In the book referenced there was not a variation without the colors as that is part of the test. This is also a very simplistic minimalistic version just to test one's response inhibition.

What happened and how did you treat the injury
@HashtagTeamFuegoАй бұрын
In terms of what happened to the horse for the injury, I am not 100% sure, but he did have a tear in his superficial tendon. His injury had a 6 months of rest and 6 months of under saddle rehab. During his rehab I also used the Equiband (which is how this channel got started so there are tons of videos about how to use the Equiband bc of it) In the end, the horse was able to fully heal and I give a lot of credit to the Equiband for his rehab success. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions! 🤠

Whoa. This video not about basketball, it's about work ethic and what can be achieved through dedication. Also, the true value of someone's life is the impact they have after they are gone. We could all stand to still learn lessons from Kobe in 2024 and beyond!

She said she was good. The point that she's making is the backing and publicity that she gets. She didn't say anything against work ethic.
@HashtagTeamFuego2 ай бұрын
I agree she didn't say anything against work ethic; however, backing and public support are both derived from a Kobe like work ethic. "You will be praised in public for what you practice in private." For context, she is also speaking to someone who was the NCAA women's all time leading scorer at one point. Athletic achievements are **always** won in the gym, in the weight room or on the field of practice; regardless of the demographics represented on someone's drivers license. Thank you for your comment 🤠
@MillionaireHoyOriginal2 ай бұрын
She was downplaying her work ethic and made it as though her "demographic" and privilege is why she's getting the success that she has. I believe it's the other way around though. She has an incredible work ethic and that "privilege" helps give her a little push - and that's no fault of her own. We all have advantages and disadvantages in life. What is she supposed to do in that situation and what's the point of A'ja bringing it up? It's a tired narrative.
@Celestial_Souljah2 ай бұрын
@@MillionaireHoyOriginal A'ja wasn't knocking her for having the privilege though. A'ja was saying the that she liked how Paige acknowledged that she had the privilege. Paige herself has come out and commented on the fact that she doesn't believe the black women basketball players get the same level and respect as the white women basketball players. How is it a bad thing for A'ja expressing respect for Paige being able to acknowledge that. It's weird to me how people will get mad at other people for just illuminating the their own reality. It's not even like A'ja was giving some public speech. She was just having a conversation with another player that she believed was similar to Paige. I'm pretty sure she wasn't even expecting it to become part of the public record.
@MillionaireHoyOriginal2 ай бұрын
@@Celestial_Souljah To your point this was said in "private" to Paige, however, it's still a tired narrative. I hear similar things in regard to Eminem, and other non-black people in predominantly black spaces. YES, Eminem was more widely recieved due to his skin color, but that doesn't at all take away from his ability. However, there are still plenty of people in rap/hip-hop that constantly want Em to "kiss the ring" and kowtow, because he's not black - and there are plenty that say that he's a "visitor" in hip-hop and can't be considered one of the best. A'ja is acknowledging Paige's attempt at virtue signaling, which Paige has every right to do, but why not just play the game to the best of your ability and avoid all the identity politics? NO ONE was talking about the WNBA, but now that Caitlin is generating some interest, far too many players are trying to tear her down for it. My opinion, of course.
@Celestial_Souljah2 ай бұрын
@@MillionaireHoyOriginal Yes, this is a reoccurring problem in black spaces, but there is history behind that. It's just a fact that white people who are great at something typically dominated by black people get a boost because a lot of white people would rather support that white person than the black people that have been doing it. I personally don't even think there is anything wrong with that. If Caitlin Clark has a bunch of fans that didn't even care about the WNBA until she came along and now they like her because she'd good and white, that's fine. That's their choice. The problem is when those people are elevated and given the crown of being the best just because they have the biggest fanbase. That's the problem a lot of HipHop fans have with Eminem (moreso his supporters). Everyone acknowledges that Eminem is a great rapper. It's just that most true HipHop heads know that Eminem's race is a big factor in his sales and accolades. You may not like the narrative, but I don't see how you can fault people for bringing it up when the people that you're defending, Paige and Eminem, have said themselves that the narrative is accurate.

"Her privlage" smfh I can't believe this even comes out of their mouths. If anyone gets ANY privlage in America, it's black people. That's why making videos like this is so important because in a sea of chaos people are actually looking for stability. Merit should be the first, second, and third reason anyone gets a job. The reason that alot of British riders throw one of there arms back is a way to keep your centre of balance. It originated from in the olden days were English people would go hunting on horseback jumping alot of tricky non maintained jumps so they started to throw there arm back as like a back up thing. So that were it originated and why British riders are the only ones that do it.

The discipline of XC came about from the hunting field in the UK. It was set up to replicate going across country from point to point tackling what ever was in your way. Racing point to point was all hedges but XC is a test of endurance and ability to take on terrain with solid fences, walls, ditches and banks. It is for me one of the most all encompassing disciplines in the equine world. Takes a specific horse who is also brave and bold and loves to take things on. And for whats its worth I would never jump out of a plane ! I do however Sail and Ski.

The problem with the fence is it is ridden on a curving line which continues on exit. So almost all horses are cutting it to gain exit. So shoulders are cutting toward the white flag and knee or foot of jockey will take it out. But as with a long ship the hind end of the horse will then shift towards the red. The issue here is the willingness of the horse to take the fence and in all these clips not one of the horses was evasive. If the Lordships shoulder or chest did take the flag then it was jockey error in making the turn too tight but for me I am afraid this looks totally suspect and the judges should be hauled up to headquarters and asked to explain with video and comparisons. Equally in situations where we know flags will be a possibility there needs to be a video directly in front to show the ride of the fence. If anything I think Lordship was taking a wider turn in and therefore it could have made his angle tighter on exit, so piloting if anything but honestly all horses made the jumping effort. No flag penalties in my eyes
@HashtagTeamFuego4 ай бұрын
That's why I made the video comparing all the flags on this fence because I was curious who else (if any) also got flag penalties, I was learning in real time when I recorded the video and found it interesting she was literally the ONLY one with this penalty. (A little sus) I know they assess from a head on video angle, but it was very clear that all these horses made an effort to jump the fence in front of them... This rule lives in the gray area, and I can only hope that they are more consistent with it in the future because luckily for the grand jury this didn't cost GB a metal, but if it had....there would have been an uproar! Thank you for your comment! 🤠 I did this video as an experiment, but it's just a conversation that needs to be had for future consistency!!

She is a 22yo crazy Morgan who, after 2 years can't believe she's mine! Why do girls always get male horse's?
@HashtagTeamFuego5 ай бұрын
I actually have two mares (female horses) but this video is with my male horse. Geldings have a reputation for being more easy going and mares have a reputation for being more temperamental. I can promise you from my many years of working with both that either gender can behave well or poorly, and it's all how the horse reacts in the moment... I made this video to demonstrate his stretching routine because as he is showing you, the stretching feels good for his overall body health. Since animals can't speak they have to show rather than tell. For me, it's confirmation he likes stretching. Thank you for the question!
