Frustrations, I have bro, my c230k Coupé 2003 did that in new year's eve, no crack no start 😢 I also wanna take off the starter, and install a new one, and ur video seems to have given me the confidence to venture into the unknown 😅 Quick question what was the diagnosis for you to reach the conclusion that it's the stater

Nothing lol. I just bought it, replaced it and hoped for the best. The car was stick so i would roll it, pop the clutch and it would start. And battery was good so I just figured it had to be the starter since the car had power when the ignition was switched on.

No. The turning signals are built into the headlight

It should all be reachable just by opening up the hood. Remove the rubbers from the back of the headlight. Everything should be accessible

Hope the vid helps. Make sure you are on the right Top Dead Center if you remove the alternator. If you just switch the rotor you should be chilling

That was the chassis harness. Some of the wiring going to some of the plugs aren’t used for the conversion harness (which I have). They were just gonna be sitting in the car for no reason. I wanted to simplify that.

Yo! I would highly recommend removing the dashboard so you have plenty of access everywhere. If you are talking about a brand new one that needs to be fitted I would put it on top of your old one and try to match all the cuts. You could start with the middle and than put it in the car and find all the other holes. Hope this helps!
