Great stuff Gav- I know its a 'detail' as such, but the satin finish on the back of the neck is great, especially for those sweatier gigs! Looks like this a great guitar for the price!

@@Dave.Weiss. I actually had the gloss sanded off the back of the neck on my main gigging guitar (EC1000 ET) and it's so much nicer!

Sounds and looks pro musician to me rather than entry level. It's a pity brand such nice gear for beginners since it gives it a bad stamp among musicians like it's shit. Why should I exclude instruments with a nice reasonable price? I'm tired of the snob mentality among musicians, to be honest aren't like 90% of all musicians poor and living relatively if not completely on the verge of poverty? At lest I do.

I prefer the 57. The Fat 55s are nice but lack definition in the attack.

Did anyone else notice how that Kahler sucked a bunch of tone and wouldn't return to tune after being used? Yeah, me neither. Nice tone and nicely played. Way to go, dude.

@@GavKingGuitar Yeah, I get tired of all the "Floyd Roses rule, Kahlers drool!" rhetoric. Kahlers fit my hand better and they don't suck tone or go out of tune if you know how to set them up. Or unless they wear out, but Floyds wear out, too. And I _like_ Floyds. I just like Kahlers a little better.

Very nice rewiev, I like that you repeat the riff to have a comparison, also that you increase the dynamics to give the amp more signal, very successful demo to classify the amp and preamp in terms of sound, for my taste these two cover a lot vocabulary, please keep it up Gav, very well done

Thought everything sounded fantastic. Wondering why you didn’t play it through A the Marshall instead of the Blackstar although the Blackstar sounded amazing also. The EMG’S sound very good to me. Thanks for the share. Pretty much everything else was a given . Thanks

Thanks. I was interested in finding out how well the Blackstar recorded direct out of the back of it. It sounded great. I would need to play the Marshall through a speaker and mic it up as I don't have a load box. Don't think my neighbours would have been too happy with that! Lol

Having recently picked up the electric guitar- have to admire Gavs utter command of that beast. I bought the Gamechanger plasma distortion for vocals when it first came out. Boss D5 delay with the 👆& I'm off! Albeit sore fingers+ sounding very Nepthy.
