Are you dizzy after rolling under low crawls? I've tried that way twice but both times have had to take about 30 seconds for the world to stop spinning. I've just army crawled my last few races but that sucks too if the ground is rocky and probably a little slower.

@@JasonWilliamsOCR That would be the same for me as well! I live in Fort Lauderdale, and my fingers are crossed. I have been excited for this race for a while. I am always on the lookout for new races to do and I go to your page first to see if you did them so I can get an idea! And it has been very helpful. You have shown me inadvertently which ones to do and not do, so I thank you for that. If you see a shorter pasty guy with balding red hair waving at you, it's just me! I am doing the bearded challenge multi lap deal, so I will be there for a while I'm sure.

They have the race in georgia on the 21st which is my birthday. I have never done a race like this before. Is this a good race for a beginner?

@@jamesdawgsbrown happy birthday! This is a great race for a beginner because you can run in the open wave and try out the obstacles. If you don’t make it, it’s fine, and you keep going. Then you can come run again next time and see how much you’ve improved. I’ll be at the Georgia race in a couple weeks!

@JasonWilliamsOCR thank you. I am turning 51 and am around 240 lbs. I lost around 150 lbs. I do hiit/crossfit 6x per week, but I haven't trained for this type event. I was just wanting to make sure I wouldn't be biting off more than I could chew.

@@mattsully2238 rock climbing is great for grip training, also pull-ups and hangs with different holds and hand positions. I think swinging is an underrated skill. I see people on rings fighting against their own momentum and making it so much harder on themselves. Most of the time after a race, I will go play on rigs to practice different techniques.

Thanks for filming and sharing. I raced in the 50-54 wave. I spotted myself at about 10:45 in on the ropes obstacle before the tyre drag. What an awesome race it was, spectacular scenery. A long way for us Kiwi's to come. Over 20 hours of flying from New Zealand.

Thanks! Baby is keeping me busy, but I’ll try to get frontline done soon. Don’t have the whole race because I got stuck at the rope rig and low rig and both batteries I had ran out 😬 So I have a lot of footage of me doing nothing to go through 🤣

Hi, at first big congrats to finish it. At the beginning i was thinking "what a poor race". After 5:35 i was so excited about obstacles that i have some ideas for our team in Poland: LPP. The blitz is 3 miles and the full race is about 6. I would go for the full race because you leave out some obstacles on the blitz, and that’s the fun part!
