Sorry I’m rather late but just wanted to ask you whether a strong magnet anywhere on the plane can possibly affect the functioning of the propeller motor.

If your mount is level you set the scope to zero. There's a small triangle pointer on one side. If you look at the round scales on the side. One has numbers.
@mikeries85494 жыл бұрын
I do the same thing in my living room with an etx 60at. What makes it interesting is using SKY MAP app to confirm your doing it right. It's not perfect but if you run the app while you're aligning your telescope it gets real easy..

My bad not checking responses here. Can reach me under user name phillip on the excellent astronomy forums Cloudy Nights. Terrific info There! Yes is Audiostar as does include narration. Actually this scope is a much more reasonably priced of the jewel Questar, King of the pack but costly. We do have 3 1/2 inch opening so more of a detection than resolving deep sky fainter objects. Does shine on planet view, easily over 130X rather well, enough to catch Jupiter's Io shadow and it's famed GRS Great Red Spot! Largest markings of Mars, but warn you its abit small needs good sky Conditions! Saturn always a beauty, ring division there when planet is open for the better look. Used this puppie near exclusive for several years, it's locater, yes noisy but works rather well. Believe original manufacture stopped production, but is version still out there. Optics on these very decent, sharp. Not a bad choice. Later most move to larger size telescopes, my favored orion 8 inch reflector dobsonian mount. Gets raved reviews, one of the best value buys with enough aperture to see alot more. Clear Skys!

Update I now have the XT8I, intellescope. Amusing used the locater only once as did work. Difference it uses tension round knobs inplace springs, not always required but need them at nearing zenith or heavier eyepieces. My original XT8 still used by an upcoming astronomer. Years later the XT8 series is still my main observing telescope. Cold outings enjoy the fast setup and tear down, a winner!

How I figured out the exact year that this clock was made is that I saw 46 years in the title and this video was published in 2012 and 2012 - 46 = 1966!
