Thank you. Yes colossal weapons are even better at dealing stance damage. However their animations are much slower than great hammers. Therefore it's possible that your attacks will be interrupted by Midra's swings. Another option is using heavy Armor + poise boosting talisman with colossal weapons so that your attacks will not be interrupted and you can land every attack, making this boss fight even more trivial in theory

Bloodfiends arm is one of the best weapons for breaking poise btw

I didn't hear shit because I was focusing on the combat. I hate how long they made these dialogues in the DLC, with the Hornsent invasion I literally had to stand there and stop myself attacking so I don't kill Leda before the whole dialogue. It lasted like a fucking minute. So I have to look it up online to hear it all

@@APtechandgaming Hornsent isn't irredeemable. You can even have him as an ally if you summon him for Messmer, because then he realises Leda's treachery and recognises you as a fellow. The guy has every right to be mad, his entire people were made extinct due to Messmer and Marika.

Midra's stance is 80. Charged r2 for great hammers does 40 damage and light attack does 13. Cragblade gives +10% and crystal tear gives +30%. 53*1.3*1.1 is approximately 76 stance damage. Since he's a multi phase boss, some of the stance damage from previous phase carry over as well (afaik). So yeah, this build is mathematically correct. I don't know why it didn't work out for you. Maybe you didn't use the buffs?

He attacks 5 times in a row followed by bs holy attacks. Is there any reliable way to even dodge it hitless
