Did you know that you can crochet an I-Cord?? 🤔 It is very simple and the results are stunning and look like a knitted I-Cord. I have used this crochet method for many of my recent projects. The process is repetitive, so it’s a very relaxing project that you can watch Netflix and chill while creating! 😉 ✨Written instructions for I-Cord: 🔥First SAVE this video for future reference. 💫 Start by creating a slip knot. 1. Chain 3. Insert hook into 2nd chain from hook, yarn over and pull thru. Insert hook into 3rd chain from hook, yarn over and pull thru. There will be 3 total loops on the hook. 2. Remove the first 2 loops from the hook and hold them tightly with your thumb and first finger. **It is very important to secure these 2 loops**. Yarn over and pull thru 1st loop on hook. Insert hook into 2nd loop that is not on hook, yarn over and pull thru. Insert hook into 3rd loop that is not on hook, yarn over and pull thru. There will be a total of 3 loops on the hook. 🌟 Repeat step 2 until your desired length. ⭐️ Once you’ve reached your desired length, yarn over, pull thru all 3 loops, then chain 1 to tie off. ✨I - Cords can be used for purse handles, straps for clothing, lanyards, etc. The possibilities are endless. 🤩 Comment below how you will incorporate the I-Cord into your next crochet project. Hope this helps and happy crocheting! 😊🧶 #icord #crochettip #crochettutorial #knittedcord #crocheticord #kellispurpose #beginnercrochet

Wonderful stitch. Somehow I get off on some rows
@kellispurposeАй бұрын
Oh no! I sometimes do this as well. So sorry that happened. If my project is not too terribly long, I try to occasionally count my stitches every other row to try and keep on track. 😉.

Is that type of yarn ok for a hot pad or should I find a 100% cotton yarn? I loveeeeee ILTY from HL but I worry it will melt. What are your thoughts?
@kellispurposeАй бұрын
I have used ILTY from HL on other hot pads and it has been ok. I’ve never used anything blazing hot on it though. But, if your first mind is to use 100% cotton, then I would do so. I was always taught, go with your first mind. 😉😊
