Yes! You can connect multiple UE. You can use UERANSIM to simulate multiple UEs as well.

@@nuradioconcepts I don't mean ueransim but original ue aka smartphones like redmi, samsung etc because I've tried installing it but the biggest problem is srsran can't connect 2 or more smartphones. do you have a solution? Thanks

Thank you for this well-explained tutorial ! I have done all the installations but I have an error dealing with gpsdo. I set the clock to internal because I don't have any GPSDO but it is not working. Do you know any alternative ?

Try setting the value to "default" or try commenting out the line.

@@nuradioconcepts I commented out sync and set clock to external because i am using LEA-M8T-0 with a GPS Antenna. It is not working maybe i have to buy a GPSDO

Do you know how to connect the UEs to the internet? I ping the UE with a site but it does nothing. I tried pinging two UEs but with the same result. I installed open5gs and ueransim to ubuntu 22.04

I am using a USRP B210, srsRAN currently only supports the USRP UHD RF Driver for 5G. You can use UERANSIM to conenct to Open5GS if you want to simulate the 5G gNB and 5G UE without any hardware.

Hey I got the webui-service running but can't seem to connect to the localhost. Any idea on why that is?

are you trying localhost:9999? If you are using an older version of Open5gs, then it would be localhost.3000. Let me know if that doesn't work.

@@nuradioconcepts tried them both, but I just followed what you did. The webui.service just stops working after running for 1 second or so. But i'm getting help in the open5gs discord.

@@nuradioconcepts Got it up and running. just wondering if you can connect a phone without knowing their IMSI or is this only working with known phones?

@@randommemedude2515 The phone needs to be known in the subscriber database in order to connect to the network. The IMSI, K, OPc, APN and APN type need to match what is configured on the SIM card/phone. If the device is not in the database, the network will reject it.

Hi Ryan, nice and informative video! You mentioned some issues with the OpenAPI Dissector on your Ubuntu machine. I'm from the team at DTAG developing this tool. Would you mind giving us some more context or just add a short issue report in the dissector github? Perhaps there is something that can be fixed on our side? BR, Steffen

Thank you for the video. Now I am going to install srsRAN_projekt 5G en Open5GS on separate computers. My previous attepts with an installation on the same PC have been successful, but the open5GS SMF stopped working every time the UI tried to connect.
