Sorry, Bloomington is the limestone capital of the world😊(just kidding. Sort of...). He's exactly right about the term "Cutters". Never heard that in my life until the movie "Breaking Away". I'm a Bloomington native, btw.

You’re darling- I think now, Bedford lacks a lot. Probably back in the 50’s it was better. Like most of this country.

Rupert Holms had another song that got airplay but not as much as Escape. The song was called Him and I think a better song.

I agree. And Steeler's Wheel had "Star" which I liked much better than "Stuck in the Middle."

30 seconds in, that is not Brad Delp. It is concert footage of a 2014 or 2015 concert with Tommy DeCarlo (7/8 years after Brad Delp had passed). Tommy is a great guy, but this specific footage probably shouldn't be in a video honoring Brad Delp.

After watch this video, youtube fed directly to the movie. I was in SAC working on the B-52s at Clinton-Sherman AFB in Oklahoma in 1965 to 1968. I loved the movie when it came out and have watched it several times since then. I will wait until tomorrow to watch it with my daughter. 1962 graduate from Bedford High School.

I grew up there from 1964, till 1987. So many great memories, and still get back there from time to time. Still have a lot of family there. My grandpa preached at Englewood Baptist for 35 years, maybe longer. I went to Englewood, then Stalker schools. Ours was also the first class to go all 4 years at Bedford North Lawrence HS, but I spent many nights in the BHS gymnasium watching basketball. I got to watch Larry Bird play there his Sr. Year of high school, before he went to ISU. Camping in the Hoosier Nat’l forest, swimming in the quarry and hoping to not get caught, or snake bit. Jackson’s Gas station, the Settelight, Snow’s ‘drive in, and on, and on. So many great memories. Thank you for posting this.
