Will this product work for polymer coating? I’m trying to strip off the coating to actual metal on a handgun.

I am an EMT and you are NOT an EMT. First of all an EMT don't need to buy staff from Walmart or ebay they can get it from the hospital or in the Ambulance Station stores, second you have cheap stuff not even worth having a look, third haemostat for clipping an artery? You have seen too many times Black Hawk Down, fourth the stethoscope as an EMT you would buy the best of the best and not that chinese staff that is as good as using two cups and a string to hear the heart or lungs. You don't have a fucking idea of what is an EMT mate nor working at the back of an ambulance. And if you are an EMT, well your clinical tutor has come out from the Looney Tunes clinic. You are just a Walter.

I know this video is old, but thanks for the post. I have a 1911 with plenty of miles on it with a duracoat job. I completely disassembled the whole gun and I'm stripping and starting fresh. I hope this works!

@@Skyfall-sv8df Well, 6 years ago. This worked great actually. Kinda messy, but it is the only way to strip it all the way down to bare bones. I still own the gun and it turned out great.

I've used aircraft stripper on a psa15 (looks like same stuff) and tho it did dull it a bit, it didn't remove parkerizing. I did opt to respray with high heat BBQ paint Wich returned it to it's original black. I also used it on magpul ak furniture and though it affected color, removed clear sheen, it didn't damage product.

1. This is the internet, when you said it is irrelevant. When I read it is relevant. 2. You've got a pretty specific name and I couldn't help but see what kind of person acts like this. 3. Taking pride in what you do? That doesn't even make any sense. Someone can do a million things unrelated to fitness and take pride in them. Either way man, I'm over it. I just saw it and thought someone should point out you're talking like a total, self-righteous prick since no one had called you out on it. You've got no right to tell anyone else how to live, just like no one else has any right to tell you how to live. So with that in mind, this'll be my last post. It's dinner time and those "tacticool cheeseburgers" are getting cold.

Only problem i have with these kits, (love the concept) is that burglars are going to become aware of these things and can easily check your mirrors to see if they're tactical walls and score some easy guns. Glad you pointed it out that it's not a safe substitute.

Just some recommendation on the tools being used. You'd get a cleaner cut with a drywall knife rather than a razor or pocket knife. Plus if you had to put the wall back together you'd already have the piece that's cut to size since you wouldn't have had to break everything to get it off the wall.

That is why I stated in my video that I do not carry the hemostats for clamping arteries. However you can do it. Would I do it in the street on some random person, no but if I knew how to do it and it was a last resort it would work that's why they are called "hemos." Doctors use them all the time in surgery for clamping vessels, but I do not recommend it for your average person. However thanks for watching!

Clamp an artery? The Blackhawk Down movie really did a disservice by showing medics attempting to clamp off an artery. Don't attempt to clamp an artery, the patient will bleed out, just apply a pressure dressing and hold pressure, or for a major artery add a SWAT T. A CAT won't work for high groin or axillary bleeds. Thanks for the video

only thing about the serial number that you have to worry about it actual intent to obstruct or remove serial number for unlawful purposes, natural wear and paint does not show intent for unlawful use

You can use the mounts that the pistols are sitting on. You can mount it on the side and put the barrel through it but I chose not too. They have a couple photos on their site showing it. Sorry I can't explain it any better.

Aloha: Just spent a few agonizing minutes watching the video on wall inserts. Hey come on guys - I get it - studs 16" on center - just tell me once. And just say 'drill' - forget 'corded or battery' - I can figure that out myself, and so forth. Yeah, the presenter seemed nervous, ergo maybe the raison d'etre for the mega-annoying encore info throughout. Sorry to be critical. All your products look really nice/innovative, and admittedly, the video was ultimately informative. Regards.

The 1911 is a STI spartan and is a great pistol. It comes stock with no rail but I bought the EZ rail (tic rail) for it so I could mount a light. It comes with standard wood grips which ive changed obviously. I duracoated it and added night sights. I haven't added anything else but it is an excellent 1911.
