I was diagnosed bipolar in passing by a doctor who saw me once. It didn't feel entirely accurate. After years of exploring treatment options, I have settled into a diagnosis of ADHD, and depression. Mental illness is so hard to find an answer for. Most people don't see it in me. But my sweet husband has seen me at my worst and I love that he sees the real me. We have a little boy who is on this path now. He's on mood stabilizers. I don't think people realize how miraculous medication and therapy is for those of us struggling with mental illness. You can get help! Thank you so much for sharing your story. It is real. And you can get real help!

What a great story to share! I look at all the good things you do and how amazing you are--and I love knowing that you do all of this while struggling with serious mental struggles. My mental illness struggles were magnified on my mission too. It's been a fun journey finding the right meds and the right coping mechanisms for my own mental health.
