all that is supposed to be behind a picking pattern not a strum.

@@MattyVicious1 TS9 is set as follows: Drive 1/4 up, Volume is 3/4 up and Tone is 1/4 up. All the vintage muffs are different in terms of knob placement (I have owned 3 vintage and 3 reissue). The one in the video has all the knobs 3/4 up. Hopefully that helps to get close enough.

Component values have tolerances and if you adjust the pots, you’ll find that most RAT’s can match each other. I’m a former Kzoo musician and knew a few people at ProCo and Gibson. Trust me, there’s a lot of smoke and mirrors.😂
@Bikewithlove2 ай бұрын
Yep - I’m watching these so-called ‘comparisons’ and the camera angles are all wonky so you can’t compare them, while at the same time the levels are obviously all a bit off, which can make huge differences in how each one compares. I suspect a lot of these comparisons - if not all of them - are being made to bump up the going rate for the old ones. I saw a pretty beat-up, modded & repaired RAT in a listing for a cool $500. Back in 1989 I bought a used Korg Mono/Poly for $125. Fast forward to 2008 when I sold it on eBay for $800 and I bought the plugin. They’re worth the price of a car now, but the VST in my opinion is the exact same thing and it’s even better because you can automate it & save settings. I just don’t see the point in shelling out thousands of dollars for an antique when I can play it on my iPad and save & catalog every sound. There’s a sucker born every minute. Thank you for your post - I’m going on Amazon now to order myself a new RAT2 ☕️
